Lowe's 29¢ a foot carpet installation is a complete BS bait and switch!
They've got that 29¢ advertisement all over the store. I went through the process, scheduled the measurement, then was quoted a price 3x higher than advertised. (98¢ a foot) On top of that, the installation guy tried to sneak in an additional $850 charge because he said carpeting can't be installed on top of a sheet vinyl floor. I'm a retired builder/contractor and can tell you that's the biggest line of BS I've ever heard! Do yourself a favor and buy your carpeting from a local carpet store and save yourself the time, aggravation, and money!

We used Lowes for our kitchen update back into 2019 and Carlos was excellent in helping us make selections. We also had a good experience with cabinet and counter installation. Fast forward to this year and we had a leak that damaged some of our cabinet fronts and needed to be replaced. We came in to speak with the kitchen dept and worked with Dean and Carlos who were able to work with the vendor, Kraftmaid, to help replace the cabinets under warranty! We were so impressed and really appreciated all of the help we received. Absolutely recommend them and also Kraftmaid!
