The worst bank by far took a check they issued in there and still wouldn't cash it ...they never heard of a E-CHECK thought banks deal with that stuff all the time ..anyway I would not recommend this bank for my worst enemy employee were rude and treated me horribly...they should be ashamed of there selves

Have to give a star in order to post review but it's really NO stars! OMG the worst banking ever. Repeatedly have experienced terrible customer service. Had my debit set to where it would not work if in didn't have the funds. Suddenly one day that stopped. Ranked up 5 $38.00 charges in two days without ANY notice or anything. Called and after waiting for 43 minutes finally spoke with someone- he reversed 4 of f the charges but it last one. Mind you, both my husband and I have our checks automatically deposited to this bank, have several accounts, AND a mortgage going on 23 years. This is the thanks they show you. After being assured the debit work go back to not allowing me to overdraw, I saw another 38.00 charge and again, I was over. Went into the bank. The branch manager told me to go to the other branch because she couldn't fix the problem herself. Drive across Brick and have wait, and wait for the manager. She laughed at the 38.00 charge for my debit being overdrawn said, "it's only 38.00; I'll give you the 38.00!" Like sorry but I'm a teacher and 38.00 is 38.00 to me. And this is one of several times I have had terrible experiences with this bank. I would NEVER recommend them. I have a second account at another very local bank (Manasquan) and have had mother but the best customer service experience both in person and on the phone. I am in the process of moving most of our day to day banking there. The less I have to interact with anyone at Ocean First the better.

Great bank to be associated with! My many experiences at the Brick location on Chambers Bridge Road has always been a delightful experience. I would like to give some positive feedback and commend Dominick Luccarelli for his continued “excellent customer service”. He always goes above and beyond to help me with my current bank issues, as well as, resolving them quickly and professionally. It is so nice to walk into the bank only to be immediately greeted by him even when he is helping another customer. I appreciate how he truly listens attentively, immediately fixes the problem and offers helpful tips to better manage my banking accounts. He offers his time without rushing me and makes sure that I am completely satisfied before leaving the bank. Thank you, Dominick, for making me feel respected and valued as an Ocean First Bank customer and I hope that the bank recognizes what an awesome asset you are to their banking family!!

Cherie was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Someone got my email and banking information, and within one day, Cherie had me set up with 2 new checking accounts, a new savings account, and a new passbook account for my son.

OceanFirst is my favorite bank. It's so much better than any big corporate bank because you actually get to speak to live people who give you real solutions. I always go out of my way to drive to the Brick location because the staff is so nice- especially Mary Ann!

I love this bank! I have had other banks and the reason I switched to OFB is because I was tired of other banks not following through on their promises. I had an issue recently on my end and I went inside and the whole front staff worked on solving my problem! EVERYONE in the Brick bank is so kind and they really do care for me as a customer! Mary Ann is the sweetest as well as the manager and all the employees!!

I have a mortgage with them, a small one, but EVERY YEAR I have an issue with the escrow. They send a letter with a new calculation; I pay the difference to keep the payment the same; and yet the payment changes. Since I have automatic payments set up, this has caused an issue in the past. Luckily this year I remembered to check the statement and yep, they increased the payment. This is why I have no other accounts with them. I'll be paying this one off ASAP so I can stop having to deal with them. They need to get their systems into this century.
