Manager Cliff is very rude and arrogant.
His predecessor had given free oil change for messed repairs by mechanics and I had to go to Honda dealership to fix. In September 2024, I had used first free oil change and today I went for next oil change. Nick services person told me that he has no record of free oil change, so I asked to check again. Meantime Cliff, came in and I asked him that in your supervision my oil change was done. He flatly refused that he ever did, and told me that in January when I had gone there, his mother died so he was not on duty and I am incorrect.
I asked nick to verify when I had my last oil change done and he informed me it was September, 2024.
I asked Cliff how did you say it was January? He was pretty rough and I had to shout at him.
He told me how dare you shout in my store and went inside the shop.
I had appointment for defective service and was charged $ 117 when Mark had agreed to review the work.
Very bad treatment.

This place is a mess they should stop having fake people put reviews on here, listen they damaged my daughters car and never told her they tried to get away with it until the damage left paint on the door and could be proven.is this the type of place you can trust you car with I think you people are smarter than that.they still haven’t fixed her car and replaced the door.if this issue isn’t fixed soon you will be paying for more than a door.I will be giving her my lawyer soon to help her in this matter and you will pay more than door.next will be better business bureau.and the states attorney generals office with a complaint.

My elderly friend had brake work done and now is told he needs new hubs because the abs sensor in the hub is misaligned and the abs check engine light and brake light are lit up and wont go off until $600.00 worth of work is done. All this because he needed new brakes, is this normal? Ive never heard of anything like this. This would bring the total to around $1000 for rear brakes! And a broken wallet.

Don’t bother making an appointment because they won’t honor it.

It was very expensive for just the labor. Was my first experience with service to a vehicle so I don’t have much to compare but I was told on the phone that the part itself cost $389 I thought the price was high but I needed it fixed. It really only cost $35 and over $250 in labor plus $60 just to look at it. Not gunna lie I kinda think I was ripped off but I needed it fixed. And I was told it would be ready the next day but had to wait 3 days. Next time I will be calling local garages to see if I can find a better price.

I had a great experience at Pep Boys in Brick on Friday 6/14/24. I was on my way home from work, l noticed my cars rear tire was loosing air. When I arrived home I called Pep Boys, spoke to Mark. He told me to bring in my vehicle now. Craig ended up putting a patch on the inner tire. These two employees did an excellent job. I really like the way I was treated. Thank you !

Cliff and Tony P are the best. Cliff always goes above and beyond to help each and every customer. Tony is an awesome mechanic. I won't take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!

I came in with a wheel/tire issue that we thought had been fixed, but alas it was a bigger issue than expected. Cliff was incredibly helpful in getting me in and out as quick as possible and back on the road!

I was recommended by Tire Rack to have my new tires put on at Pep Boys in Brick, they had the best deal in the area so I decided to take my car there. I ended up having to return after the initial mounting and balancing to get my tires rechecked. Something didn't seem right and my car felt very wobbly especially on the parkway. I was told all tires were rebalanced and that my problem was my rear brakes sticking. I'm no mechanic but I know that something was off other than my much needed rear brakes, but one large expense at a time, I needed to wait on the brakes. Well today I am at another mechanic to do my brakes and I was told I am missing a lug nut in one of my rear tires and all of my lug nuts are loose. My car has been unsafe to drive for a month with my son in the backseat and I have been trusting the word of Pep Boys shop attendant who seemed irritated that I did not feel safe driving my car. He was also irritated when I turned down the offer to have my rear brakes done there. I will not be returning to Pep Boys and I hope everyone gets the work they've done double checked. Apparently it could cost you your life. I apologize to the good mechanics that work there but it has to be known that someone there is an issue and isnt dedicated to doing good work.
