We love Dr Horatio. She’s the best and the only doctor we see always for our Cavapoo. She’s so patient with him. And always treats him with extra special care. We love her style and appreciate her approach. Always giving us options to consider for treatment with her view on path to consider.

We were a customer for 10 years and when my dog needed a refill of prescription they wouldn’t do it because they hadn’t seen her in 11 months. It was under the year mark but would not refill it. We were leaving on a plane in 3 hours so I said fine I will bring her in to see you then but they said they had no openings. After a debate on the phone they finally filled her prescription but were not nice/professional about it. We have switched to a different veterinarian!!

A wonderful and caring staff of true animal lovers. They did everything they could to take of my senior cat. They were so nice and caring it was outstanding. I highly recommend them.

I “wouldn’t” recommend calling this office for ANY pet emergency or medical concern you have, at ALL! This has to be the rudest most unprofessional vet office (or any office for that matter) I have ever spoken to! I called them last week because we are in distress (my wife and our 3 young children under 9) about putting down our sick cat of over 20 years. The woman at the front desk begins to tell me the pricing and then puts me on hold. Then hangs up! THEN, when I call back numerous, numerous times because I was hung up on for no reason, “She screens the call” and hangs up on me again twice. Then I figured well if they’re that busy I guess I’ll have to drive to the office to find out the price details we need. After I walked in, I wanted to confirm my suspicions and so I stood by while she was assisting someone on the phone and then when she was done, I “watched” her intentionally ignore my call! I asked her why she was doing this, her answer? “I don’t know sir!”. I don’t know sir? What is that? Then, you would think that the Chief veterinarian would call me after I continuously left messages and sent emails about this because that’s what a professional would do? Nope. Just the opposite. Refuses to call me back because she was privvy to the employee intentionally ignoring the call and is defending that behavior. If this is the kind of manner they run the office at, what does that tell you about their care for our pets! Sad. I’ve never seen anything like it. I would think twice. It’s a veterinarian. Once you hand money to them, they can treat however they want and you’re not getting that money back.

Dr O was so wonderful and caring about Derek. This was the first time anyone gave me the results of a cxr read by a radiologist. I was truly impressed by her and the treatment and concern I received. I will definitely make Somerset Veterinarian my vet going forward.

Everyone treated Lily with kindness and respect. The doctor took the time to provide me with information regarding Lily's anxiety and followed up with an email highlighting the details.

Somerset veterinary group took great care of my daughter and my dog. My daughter, Heather started working with Somerset Veterinary group about 2 years ago. She loved working with these wonderful, loving, independent women. Heather saw first hand how they took such great care of the animals, that she insisted we visited the group with our dog, Nala even though the group was twice as far from us as our old veterinarian.
Nala, our 13 year old puppy, was a fun loving dog who always had a kiss and a tail wag for everyone. Nala enjoyed visited Somerset Veterinary group. They treated her with love and Nala enjoyed the treats and the hugs. The visits always started off with the friendly receptionist crew , continued with the professional vet tech staff and finished with the wonderful, caring doctors. When we started bringing Nala to them for care, Nala had bad arthritis in her back legs. We had her on two medicine that were working okay, then Dr. O suggested another one to help relieve some of the pain. It helped Nala move around better and helped her have a happier life towards the end.
Last month, we saw that it was time to have Nala go to Heaven. Dr O and the team made it a little easier to deal with our loss. We knew Nala was in wonderful hands. The staff make it an easy process from the moment we walked in the door. They came in and explained everything that was gonna happen step-by-step. They gave us plenty of time to say goodbyes. They shared special treats with Nala. Treats like chocolate cake (that dogs are not supposed to have) a chicken quesadilla as a last meal. Nala had not been eating for a few a days before and she was very happy to try the staff’s food.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to loved ones, but Somerset Veterinary group made it a bit easier. Somerset Veterinary group, thank you for taking such great care of both of my babies! I wish the best for the staff and will miss visiting the Group.
