Do yourself a favor, DO NOT open an acct with this bank.The toll free customer service number is useless... they provide only the very basic support. They always tell you go into the branch for EVERYTHING. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone in one of the central jersey locations... no one every picks up the phone. And to get the simplest things done, like taking a name off the acct because someone past away takes forever! My father had an account in Somerset Saving bank in Raritan and it took 30 min to close his acct and transfer money into a new account in my name.DO NOT BANK HERE!

I have been banking with TD my entire adult life (I’m 34) and I must say, today I had the nicest associate I’ve ever met. I came in extremely upset because my card was compromised. They were about to close and Lakshmi Sosale-Murthy was gracious enough to stay rectify my issue and not have the slightest bit of irritation of having to be there past hours. Thank you for saving my bank account, being so lovely, and really being the true definition of customer service. -Kelly

TD bank is great bank, but this particular branch is run by some non-professional people the manager of this bank should know about it! The kiosk very often does not accept money for some unknown reason.

I think this was my first less than ideal experience at TD Bank. I went in to cash a check and get a blank check.Told the teller that and they went to work. They hand me a deposit slip and about to go about their day. I said I wanted to cash the check and get a blank check. They laughed, gave a nonsense apology, told me I can withdraw here or at the ATM and proceeded with the blank check I originally requested. It was complicated.My recommendation when working with a customer stop typing and actually listen.

The worst service ever experienced.A simple task turned into a racial profiling.I was simple cashing my paycheck coming back my son 4H meeting and thought since that this bank was near I would simply cash it here. Handed my ID and check thought simple enough. NO. The person replied if I knew my account number because my name Torres was common. So I Handed in my debit card. Apparently the card wasn't sufficient enough. Not only I identify myself also proofed myself that I have an account with the bank. It should have been enough to cash a paycheck but the person wanted my Social Security. I declined. I respectfully asked for everything back and said I didn't think I'll have a hard time just to cash a check. I'll go to the bank in Bridgewater. With a smug look on that person face and said I wasn't giving you a hard time but you can to the lobby and cash your check. I replied, No thank you.

The people here are terrible, I made a cash deposit on Thursday, didn't see it get posted, got the run around that it was a computer error and I would see it in a few hours, still nothing, called the branch I believe her name was Katherine was horrible , spoke to someone on twitter and spoke to someone at the 800 number, Katherine didn't believe me that I spoke to 2 other people, long story short, my debit card deposit ended up going into someone else's bank account, how? I have no idea. this bank can care less about its customers.

It was my first time visiting the ATM at that location, my money got stuck and I didn’t get credit for it. I called the 1800 number and they couldn’t help me. I called the branch the next day, and Donna was fabulous, she helped me and she was so polite, im not their branch customer, but she surely made sure to follow up with me, and she updated me after the branch credit my account. Some people can make a difference. Thank you for your service Donna.
