Hoffman's Marina offers a mixed experience for boaters. It is conveniently located near the inlet, making it a popular choice, although some guests found the noise from the nearby railroad bridge disruptive. The marina features clean restrooms and showers, and there is a nice on-site restaurant. The staff is highly praised for being exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, especially for new boat owners. However, the large tide swings can create a strong current, making it tricky to get on and off boats at high or low tide. The beach and other attractions are not within walking distance, and recent boat races have occasionally closed the inlet.
