Hoffman's Marina offers a mixed experience for boaters. It is conveniently located near the inlet, making it a popular choice, although some guests found the noise from the nearby railroad bridge disruptive. The marina features clean restrooms and showers, and there is a nice on-site restaurant. The staff is highly praised for being exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, especially for new boat owners. However, the large tide swings can create a strong current, making it tricky to get on and off boats at high or low tide. The beach and other attractions are not within walking distance, and recent boat races have occasionally closed the inlet. Despite some challenges, many guests appreciate the warm welcome and assistance from the staff.
I was not impressed with this marina. The location to the inlet is the only reason we stayed here. They put us on the outside of the t dock right next to the rr bridge. It was noisy and rollie all night. The restrooms/showers were nice, but my husband didn't get hot water in his shower. The on-site restaurant is nice.

I'm a new boat owner and also new to NJ. Hoffman's Marina has been nothing shy of exceptional. Staff is exceptionally kind, helpful, understanding, thorough, personable....just all around. I cannot stress how important that is to someone still learning the ropes, and I can't thank them enough for being so welcoming.-Sean
