“I was struggling to find someone who could remove a rounded off and stuck oil pan drain plug. I asked for word-of-mouth suggestions and Van Meter came up. Keith called me around 2:30PM and was able to squeeze me in the same day, after I was done work. Not only was his team able to remove the plug, but he also showed it to me and described what he thought the original cause was. Finally, they reached out by text the following day to make sure that I was satisfied with the quality of their workmanship. Therefore, between the attention to detail and the fact that I live only about two miles from their shop, I plan on returning for my automotive needs.”

“As a woman, I felt the need to put a review & I'll tell you why. First, let me make it clear, KX Auto is my only auto shop. I personally will take my car there & feel comfortable. This is for the women who are looking for an auto shop.I've been going to KX since 2018 or 2019, I can't remember. These guys have solid work ethic & provide quality service to my car. They've seen both mine & my husband's car & provide fair pricing. They're the only people I trust with our car now because they've helped me troubleshoot my oil issue & they're the only ones that know what to do. Since then, I'm stuck- love this auto shop.They're thorough, explain everything to me, they'll take pictures & send it to me to show me the issue, they've given me time to make a decision if it's a big fix, I'll even do my research & try to figure out what I'm saying & what I find is that they're honest too & if I have any questions they don't make me feel dumb because I'm a woman-- I've gone to places that have made me feel pretty uncomfortable. They have seen me move through life as a single to married woman. Despite me having my husband, if I dropped off the car they'll call me & provide updates/inquire what I want to do next. I don't know about you, but I want that. I feel respected in this small way that they treat me. I don't feel sterotyped or made out to be not as competent with my car. They'll communicate with me as they do with him. Super professional & I hope they never leave the Philadelphia area or be forced out of business.Parking can be hard because they're located on Washington Ave. There's construction & a new apartment is coming in so I don't know how that'll impact accessibility to them. But, I'm going to keep coming.This is the only auto shop I’d recommend & given other reviews, that means they get booked up & busy. So, if you need something serviced, regularly like an oil change or inspection, I’d schedule it out in advance. If you’re in a bind, they’ll try to work it out & help you.My only concern is that I dont know when these guys go on vacation. Honest concern because I want this auto shop around for a long time. If they scheduled a 2 week vacation I wouldn't be mad & just schedule my services before or after.This is how an auto shop should be. I should've written this years ago!!”

Some background: I needed a quick tire patch at a reasonable price, I drive a luxury car after not owning a car for 10+ years, and I was getting over the stomach flu. So when this clueless girl rolled up in a Lexus, not knowing what a wheel lock is or where to find it, and generally looking kind of confused and uncertain…well, a LOT of big automotive chains would have taken one look and invented things to charge me for or told me I needed expensive add-ons. NOT Floyd & Diann’s! The gentlemen here were quick to help, patient with me and efficient in patching and filling my tire and getting me on my way (for a reasonable price indeed!)You can just TELL this is a shop run on loyal customers, plenty of elbow grease, and a trustworthy presence in the neighborhood. “Our Mazda3 brakes were not working properly and we had them checked at Just Tires who installed them. They said it was a ANS problem that only a mechanic could fix. Tony took the car apart and found out that it was the hydraulic master cylinder that needed replacing. He test drove the car and said the brakes were fine now.”

“Christmas Eve my pickup truck began having issues on my way to North Jersey. The day after Christmas, contacted Mathey Auto for help after being turned down by 2 Ford dealers in the area (couldn’t get me in for at least 2 weeks). Judd had me come right in and set to work on it. Same day got the most comprehensive report I’ve ever seen, including photos. By this time I was home in Maryland, work was approved electronically and they had it done within 2 days.Hands down, best automotive experience ever.”

“Went there to get o2 sensor replaced. Went to auto zone for a free check engine light check was told that it was o2sensor. Called a couple different garages, and was told by all of them that they would have to run their own scan to see what the code was, which entailed another scan ranging from $100 to $120 , even though I had it in my possession. Kaspers did the work, no questions asked, and in a timely manner they just earned my business for life. Thank you again for everything.”
