I'm on day two of waiting for equipment. the excuse we shipped to the wrong location. PC " your delivery was misrouted" A shipping company that can't ship to the right address can't provide any ETA when delivery might occur then ignore request for an update.

This is the worst company to work for. They fabricated all sought of expenses just to take my escrow. I referred more than six people and they never paid me for the referral bonus. They have predatory practices that are only out to enslave drivers. Guys keep off. Run for your life.

I want to give - 5 stars! Because the drivers of this company do not know how to drive on the road! One driver from this company clipped me, checked my brakes! He acted like a drunk driver!Truck # 625- 4 4US dot 805405

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER...AVOID AT ALL COSTSI WOULD GIVE MCCOLLISTERS A ZERO IF POSSIBLE!!!!!! PLEASE READ ALL THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS, I WISH I HAD DONE SO!!!!i have moved 8 times in the last 15 years, and 3 of those moves were cross country and NEVER had such bad service.I personally packed all my items in plastic totes and all i needed mccollisters to do was pack some large furniture. i had a glass coffee table and glass shelf and a standing desk. their packers were lazy, slow, and liars. unfortunately i had been convinced by mccollisters to choose the cheapest insurance option bc we assumed they would pack things correctly. the movers refused to remove the legs from my glass furniture while packing at my apartment, lied about doing so at their warehouse, leading to a crack in one of the pieces. On Wed, Jun 24, 2020 at 10:50 AM Joann Wirth wrote: Hi Mr. Tung, I apologize for the delay, I have confirmed with the crew that the table and glass shelf was disassembled and pad wrapped before it was loaded into the containers Thank you Joann Wirth / Household Relocation Coordinator now i'm dealing with an insurance claim and mccollisters is being completely unhelpful - claiming to have shared all information with the parent company united moving, but not doing so. luckily i have all email correspondence in which their movers confirm they have taken the legs off my furniture and disassembled my desk so i am hoping united will do the right thing. finally, they also charged me for a 3rd container (additional $750) when it probably all could have been fit into 2 containers had the furniture been disassembled and packed correctly so beware of this scam as well. you can see a little bit from the pictures how the containers were only packed 2/3 of the way. I don't recall the names of my movers (who i tipped by the way and were still so lazy they couldn't take 10 min to remove the legs off the glass furniture at the warehouse and lied about it - the legs literally screw off - see picture). my move coordinator was joann wirth (if you look at negative reivews she probably used to go by joanna until all the negative reviews stacked up) and the claims coordinator was paul hamlin so be warned. Again they will sweet talk you until you have signed the paperwork, then it's radio silence if there is an issue. I want to be clear that united van lines itself is not bad. I have used them for most of my 8 moves including all 3 cross country moves and never had an issue until now. in fact the people who delivered my furniture in SF were consummate professionals and even pointed out the damage to my boxspring which i would have missed (again caused by the standing desk which should have been disassembled). Net net, united van lines is great, just avoid mccollisters at all costs. unfortunately sometimes local branches of a great company are garbage. do not under any circumstances trust your possessions to these borderline criminals.

Moved a couple of times, ordered couple of treadmills into house, and every move has been excellent - covered floors, protected door jams, protected walk ways and lawns. Thank you !

My family and I were dreading the experience of an out of state move from New Jersey to Indiana, but thanks to the help of Mark Friedman, the rep from United Van Lines, our nerves were put to rest. From the very beginning, Mark was great! He was not only extremely knowledgeable, he was also very helpful and readily available throughout the whole process...always answering all of our questions and possible concerns. He was even extremely on point with the estimate! Besides Mark, we were also very happy with Edwin and his moving crew (Patrick, Eric, Jose and Orlando). They were courteous, hardworking and efficient. They were all a pleasure to work with. I would definitely use them all again and would highly recommend everyone mentioned in this review...especially Mark Friedman, whose expertise was above and beyond what we expected!!
