I have yet to have a positive experience at Lakeland Bank, particularly the Butler branch but just in general too. The whole banking experience feels bootleg and like a big scam. Dealing with the staff is difficult and I always get poor explanations. The hours are NEVER AS THEY ARE LISTED!!! I went at 4 pm on a weekday when the hours were listed as closing at 6 pm. That’s 2 hours before closing. Doors were locked when I tried to open the door. A woman walked up and pointed behind me to turn around and go home because they were closed. Recently, I went to the bank on a Thursday at 12:30 pm (midday). The ATM, which they claim is “always there for you” was closed. How am I supposed to manage my bank account if I cannot even access the bank?!?! I’m beyond frustrated. And I feel lied to when I opened my account as a student. I recommend against Lakeland Bank.

This bank has had some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Some tellers and CSRs have such a negative attitude and are downright rude. I wish I remembered their names. I was ecstatic the day I cancelled all my accounts with them and moved to another bank all together.

I have been a Lakeland customer over 20 yrs. I used to rave about the customer sevice and now I find myself completely frustrated.I moved to another state and I am trying to speak with somone at my branch but I cannot get ahold of anyone. I call and call noone ever answers. It will send me to a Lakeland customer line that sometimes answer and when they do answer they tell me its a branch issue they cant help me. So they will email the branch for me and I never get a call back. I have emailed the manager and have gotten no response or call back. I cant believe that the bank I used to love has become like this its aweful

I have never seen a bank be less customer friendly. I am the Treasurer for our sports team, and I can never get to the bank since I work full time.

Probably the worst banking experience I’ve encountered. Greeted by a nasty women over intercom telling me to leave and try west Milford in order to receive a new card. Saying I cannot not enter the facility while all I’m trying to do is talk to someone face to face to answer my questions. I’m not usually one to complain but when it comes to banking this butler branch would get zero stars if that was a option.

I have been a customer of Lakeland Bank since 2007 and have always had pleasant experiences with the staff there. But none so good as the experience I had dealing with Alex Trakovic, not only was my wife and I treated with respect, but Alex was very adept and knowledgeable regarding our bank business, my phone calls were returned promptly and Alex kept me updated accordingly during the process. My questions were answered and Alex made sure my wife and I understood everything .I am a GM in the customer service industry and my wife and I were Wowed with the customer service Alex gave us. Your bank is well represented by Alex. I would recommend Alex to every I know and would definitely deal with him in the future regarding my bank business.

Drove all the way from NY this past Saturday to this location to get a new debit card. I was told to go to this location specifically because I could get my card same day. When I arrived they told me I wasn't able to go in the lobby due to a "water problem" so I went to the drive thru. They appeared to be fully staffed, 2 men at the drive thru and the manager, Margaret Denequolo, in the background ( I recognize her from her picture on the LB website). They refused to help me because they couldn't issue my new Debit Card "through the drive thru." I asked if they could make an exception since I drove from NY specifically for this reason. They told me they could not help me through the drive thru. I asked if I could come inside to take care of it. Again I was told that they couldn't let me in due to water problems because they didn't want me to "get sick?" Why were employees still in there if there was a danger of getting sick??? I have been a customer of Lakeland Bank since my very 1st bank account when I was a kid (i'm now in my 40s) and I stayed because I liked the small town feel of it. (I grew up in Bloomingdale) At any rate- disappointed is an understatement. I'm sad to say that I will be banking elsewhere as soon as I can switch everything over. Sad to go, but customers should not be treated like that. The manager certainly could have made the executive decision to help me thought the drive thru or to close altogether if is was so dangerous to be inside the building. And I am STILL without a debit card!
