“This place is great. I stop in for all kinds of things and the staff is always helpful. Today, Ken helped me with the parts to fix my grandson’s wheelbarrow. It would have taken me forever to figure it out on my own. So many bolts! So many little drawers. Thanks Ken!”

“I love this store they are so kind and helpful. They have all my rooms organized I can call ahead and it’s ready when I get there! Thank you guys so much for being my go to paint store for both of my houses.”
“This store is the best store I've been to in years. I was asked if I needed help by at least 8 people. Will and Joe did help me by cutting plexiglass and pointing out products I needed. The lamp I brought in on Monday to be repaired was fixed quickly at a fair price. I will definitely return because of the nice, friendly, and helpful staff. Thank you again.”
“My family is doing a whole-house renovation and Barbara has been amazing helping us along the way by figuring out which paint colors look best in each room. Highly recommend The Pete and John’s Paint Market store in Oakland NJ!”

“Today was my second time here and they were SO helpful! They saved me time, money, and energy in many ways. Very knowledgeable and will forever choose to come here.”
“My husband & I are renovating our house after several years and we had the great senes to go to Sherwin Williams in Oakland, NJ. All the staff in this location are excellent and super knowledgeable. Eddie is a “color genius”. I worked in design for several years but Eddie managed to get me to happily change my color palette for a bathroom project. He has a great manner when explaining why the colors he has selected for you work better for your project. My husband also has a unique eye for color and agreed that Eddie did a wonderful job selecting our home color palette. “Thanks Again, Eddie.”
Photos to follow soon!”
“Jan Rosario was extremely helpful and professional. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled correctly and took the time to explain things clearly. His attitude was friendly, patient, and genuinely caring, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and willing to help. Highly recommend working with Jan—outstanding service all around!”
“I have been going to this store for years now. Staff is always pleasant and helpful with product and color recommendations. The store is very well laid out, well lit with an excellent product selection.Far superior to other paint stores I have been to.”
“Counter man was so friendly. The people at my Denville Benjamin Moore store are so un-friendly. That's a big difference to me. Oh and 30% coupon wins me over too!”
“I’ve had a great experience with Pompton Building Supply. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help find exactly what I need. Their inventory is well-stocked, prices are fair, and customer service is outstanding!”

“Nobody better than Jim and Bruce. Great store and they just finished painting my house, inside and out. Great work and they did not leave a mess! Been using then for years and will continue to do so in the future.”

“Fantastic experience! Gabrielle is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We have a new deck we’re wanting to stain and Gabrielle walked us through everything we needed. Will continue to return here for our deck staining needs and highly recommend!”
