Could not have been a better experience. I am not an immensely experienced marksman and Mike Murphy had me nailing plates at 900 yards within a box and a half of ammunition - including rounds spent on zeroing a new rifle! Impressively educational, and a beautiful facility to boot.

Always have a phenomenal experience here! Good welcoming people with some pieces that would be at home in museums they’re so beautiful. Shoutout to Heff down in gunsmithing for always being a straight shooter and doing things the right way.

Just wanted to share a most pleasant experience I had at the store today. I have 6 shotguns that I wanted to consign and brought them in for evaluation. First time I have done this and was unsure of the process. I had the pleasure of being introduced to and Working with Brad. Wow, Brad is one of the most knowledgeable and professional individuals that I have ever dealt with. Took all the time with me, never felt rushed and made me feel right at home. Made this a nice seamless transaction. If I had any doubts about consigning, Brad made that disappear. As a bonus, we had some great conversation too!!Kudos to you Brad, you are an absolute asset to Griffin & Howe!!!

Steve Polanish and his guys understand what great customer service is. After years waiting for the Rizzini USA dealer to even reply back for requests, I called Steve for help. He got in touch with Rizzini, stayed on top of the problem (caused by Rizzini USA) and finally got me what I needed. In addition, he called back to check on me after the sale to make sure I was satisfied. This is what a first class gunshop should look and act like.

My double barrel had play in the barrel break and needed to be tightened. They gave me a price of $1300, I brought it in when I was ready and then they said they didn't want to do it they wanted to focus on other things in the shop. I youtubed it and fixed it for free with a blacksmith hammer reshaping the metal and filing it, simple fix. I also brought my AR 15 in same day to get optics modified. The hand guard slid forward and they told me the barrel was out of specks and I shouldn't fire it because they saw a gap in the railing between handguard and receiver. I called the manufacturer of the gun, they evaluated it and said there was absolutely no problem with the barrel and to just slide hand guard back into place and again it took me 1 minute to do. Beware dealing with these people, know a little something about your problem before seeking service there. Should be negative star review.

They caught a manufacturer error regarding a shotgun barrel. The manufacturer states for over one year and even today that the shotgun comes with a fixed modified choke. Griffin & Howe shop simply ran a choke measurement tool down the barrel and determined it was cylinder bore. I brought the barrel in for modification to make it a cylinder bore, but none was needed and Griffin was honest. Very honest and professional. They could have ripped me off without me even knowing.

Took my Browning Trap gun to Griffin and Howe after it regrettably fell off the golf cart and slid down the road at the sporting clays course. It sustained some pretty good damage to the stock and forearm, but they did a first class job of repairing, striping the wood and applying a new finish. The finish is amazing, looking at the gun you would never know anything ever happened to it!I also had them install a Gracoil recoil reduction system on it while it was there and that was also done with great fit, care and quality. It took 11 months to finally get it back but Steve always called me back when I would make an inquiry about its progress.I fully understand that quality work and service takes time and patience, it was absolutely well worth the wait!I would like to thank you guy's so much for a superb job!Roger Burton

When you simply want the absolute best in the world looking at/evaluating/fixing your firearm, there is no one else. I had an emergency situation with a rifle I was taking on a hunting trip less than 30 days away, out of the country. I explained to them my concerns, issues, and urgent need. Steve and Heff took the gun in on a Saturday morning and on Monday morning, first thing, they called to give me the good news. Gunsmiths took an immediate look at it. There really is no one better. I will only be dealing with them going forward. Once again, it is simply an unmatched operation who has a reputation of being the best, second to none. Thanks again for all your help.

Fantastic experience…no words. Thanks to Hans Aichem who truly loves his job. Expensive? As it should be…the quality is not comparable to other places we visited in the past. You guys rock???

I brought my Browning Hi Power there to have an extended thumb safety installed. I had them buy the safety to ensure it would be a proper fit. After three trips there they still couldn't get it right. Finally I had them put the original back in since they said that's the best they can do. The part was a Cylinder & Slide which should have worked. The craftsmanship was at fault. I was still charged 2 hrs labor at $105 /hr plus mark up on the part.I wouldn't take my bb gun there.

Just for starters I don’t typically write reviews unless I’m blown away by the service wether it’s good or bad. This is one of those cases.I put in an information inquiry late one evening on an handgun and I got a call at 9am the next morning from Chris Sly. I was still undecided if I was purchasing the gun but after hanging up minutes later I received a follow up email from him saying it was a pleasure speaking and if I wanted to proceed or had questions to reach out.I felt like I was buying a house or car and he was the realtor/salesman. I felt as if i was his only client and sole focus which is something any gun store I’ve been too doesn’t make you feel like. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and overall pleasant to deal with. When I went to the store for pickup one of the guys Brad helped me with finalizing paperwork and we got into conversation and again he answered any additional questions I had while also talking about other guns they have and what he likes and asking me what I’m looking for next.I could not be happier with my experience at the Griffin & Howe showroom. Amazing products, people, and SERVICE. They make you feel like family and I was truly blown away by their customer service skills. I drove and hour each way but I will definitely be going back solely due to how they made me feel throughout the entire experience.KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!!

After three trips there and $365 later they put the original thumb safety back in my Browning Hi Power. I wanted an extended thumb safety and had them order it to be sure it was the correct part They ordered the part but could not fit it correctly. They kept telling me that's as good as they can get it. They charged $210 labor plus $50 mark up on the part. That would have been acceptable but they couldn't get it right. Their motto should be "hey it's close enough"

Today I took a long range shooting class with Matt Elms as my instructor. What a fantastic experience! Being a Marine Veteran myself, I thought I knew how to shoot. But Matt taught me so much in a short time! Well worth the money and a really enjoyable experience!
