The USS New Jersey (BB-62) Battleship Museum is a great museum and a very impressive, incredible, and moving experience. It is an awesome family trip for those who have not seen World War 2 era ships, offering a very rad and outstanding experience that is highly recommended. Visitors can explore the ship on self-guided tours with routes outlined to see it in its entirety, finding many cool things and many accessible areas. The facilities are taken care of pretty well. It is also a workout with many steep steps and tight spaces. The visit is more than just a museum; it is a chance to connect personally with living history through special events and meeting veterans, which brings the ship’s history to life in a powerful and unforgettable way. The entire experience is respectful, educational, and deeply impactful.
Wooooooo - I loved this battleship! We explored for a little over 4 hours! There was so much to see and it was incredible to think this ship was once operational. Very rad experience - I highly recommend!
