Farnham Park, often referred to as "Camden High" Park, is a popular outdoor space located in the Parkside section of Camden, NJ. The park features a clean and safe playground, complete with a small water spray area that children enjoy. It's a great spot for family picnics, offering ample tree-lined open spaces and a friendly atmosphere for pets. The park has a rich history, including a public pool that was once located where the lake is now. Recently, it hosted a touching balloon release ceremony, highlighting its role as a community gathering place. Although there are no restrooms and BBQ pits, visitors appreciate the area's cleanliness and the opportunity to bring vendors or food trucks. Overall, Farnham Park is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature, and create lasting memories.
I love it; I visit here often. A fun fact is that in the 1950s, there used to be a public pool where the lake is located in the park. However, one day, the dam broke, and the water flooded the whole area.
