We've been using Nelson since he was a junior mechanic at the old Rem Auto (at 22nd & Federal) in the late 1980's. He's especially good with older cars, as he's a craftsman who takes his time. He does an excellent job maintaining my 2004 Caddy CTS, and my elderly mother's 2011 Dodge Journey SXT. In years past, he kept my late father's 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk and my mother's 1982 Z-28 Indy Pace Car in tip-top shape: How many mechanics can you find today who know how to measure and adjust solid valve lifter lash?! Don't let the Cramer Hill neighborhood fool you: His "everyday ride" is a 1937 Chevy. If you have a classic car but don't want to spend a fortune on it to get it to "Mecum Auction" condition, Nelson is your guy.
