“The large 18 room historic house was named for Doctor Emlen Physick. Doctor Physick completed his medical training but did not practice medicine. It was built in 1879. The grounds are beautiful with many trees?. The house is well-maintained and has continued it's interesting character. They offer the general public various tours of the estate. It is advised to purchase tickets in advance. The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet and consists of additional historic houses.”

“A friend found himself in very unfamiliar territory! He had a great life, worked hard and smart until his health took a turn. He lost everything and I mean everything. Not to drugs or alcohol but the loss of income, insurance and well being. His body core took a heavy hit for many months then years until progressing into a critical stage that he himself was not aware of. He's a single man who's helped many through their own hard times but is refusing to tell his peers of his current status do to future employment and also a thing we know as pride. Recently he was left little resources and made the decision to go and visit this very fine outreach. He showered, ate, and they even offered him fresh blankets and a change of clothes. He is very untrusting toward others because of his past experiences with those who think only of themselves. He commented to me that this facility is a warm and friendly place that provides essentials for individuals that find themselves in need for one thing or another. He also stated that they reach out to other facilities to grant him resources that he so badly needs right now. I'd like to wholeheartedly thank the Branches for helping my friend. God bless and keep up the great work. Well deserved!”

“Not a bad thrift store I think the selection helps the high prices and I was able to find some decent things for a reasonable price but a lot of things were overly priced in my opinion. Definitely worth a stop though”
