“The staff in this location are excellent. So professional and courteous. This is a fairly large store with lots of inventory. Lots of beachy items...jewelry..home goods...and a nice children's section. Parking is really an issue even off season. But it's a lovely town and worth the trouble.”

“A truly amazing store with unique items you will not find elsewhere. Splash has a special line of jewelry made by the designer Michou. Uniquely crafted just for Splash. I have my eye on a necklace I love and am sending the pic to my husband. My birthday is around the corner. You have to come in and see it. Pictures do not do it justice.”

“The store is located by the Washington Street Market in Cape May, New Jersey. They have an additional location in Rio Grande, New Jersey. It is an historic building and was constructed from 1895-1897. Beautiful architectural details were preserved. The site was originally used as the New Jersey Trust and Safe Deposit Building. It subsequently became a bank and Cape May City Hall. The current store sells a wide variety of Christmas gifts and merchandise.”

It’s obvious they’ve cherry-picked the absolute best of the best. You won’t find random junk here, just genuine antiques with real history and character.
What impressed us most was how Susan and Wayne know the story behind every single piece in the store. Their knowledge and passion for antiques shine through in every conversation.
I’ve seen a few confusing reviews online, but after visiting, I honestly don’t understand the complaints. The owners simply ask that you respect the store’s layout by not bringing in large bags (just bring your wallet it’s not that hard!— it’s clearly posted before you even enter). As they explained, they’re responsible for the dealers’ merchandise, and after years of dealing with breakage and accidents, the policy makes perfect sense. It’s a small price to pay for such a pristine shopping experience.
The best part of our visit was spending time chatting with Susan and Wayne. They’re warm, generous, kind, and full of wonderful stories. They’re fascinating people who genuinely enjoy getting to know their visitors. As longtime locals, they also gave us fantastic recommendations for Cape May that we never would have discovered otherwise. Their enthusiasm for antiques is contagious and it’s clearly not just a business for them, but a true passion.
If you’re a serious antique lover who appreciates quality, respect, and personal connection, Treehouse Antiques is an absolute must-visit. We left with a couple of special treasures and memories that made our trip unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed. ❤”
“I went to Beach Bling for my birthday trip to Cape May and bought some lovely pieces. Some earrings I bought I lost and another store found them and returned them to Beach Bling. Someone contacted me from there after tracking me down and I confirmed they were mine, they agreed to ship them to me at no extra cost and I am so happy!
