This company is the biggest scam that I ever encountered. First they are not who they say they are. The sale person Haley and her boss misrepresented the company as a moving company, they are not. They are brokers that sale your move to the best offer. They quoted me $3,800 for the move in order to beat a price from another vendor I had. The QA department, Joe is a real joke, it is just a waste of your time and will agree for you to do anything on your move and was very difficult to understand what his job is all about (just a part of the scheme). Anyway when the movers came they were not from Countrywide but a private mover (Atlas) They loaded the truck completely and when finished the supervisor driver told me that the cost would now be $10k, because of the bad estimate. At this point I had no choice but to agree since they had all my stuff in their truck. Buyer beware, do your homework on the company before you commit. Go directly to a private mover yourself. Countrywide is a huge scam and if you complain they will they sent you to a customer care that does nothing for you. They refused to refund my deposit to them which was a third of the initial quote. Again, this is money wasted because the movers don't see it. Live and learn, but I am a shame to live in a country that allows people like Countrywide to exist.Ben

This company took $10826 from me as a "deposit", and when I got suspicious of the company for taking such a large deposit, not disclosing they were a broker not a mover, and they were sending some other company I had never heard of to actually do the move. I told them I did not want their service and asked for a refund. They refused to return any of they money even though they did absolutely no work for me. When I protested they put me in touch with a lady who was higher up in the company and she said they would have a "meeting" about the refund. After the "meeting" they agreed to give me a "credit" for the amount of my deposit for use in a future move within 12 months. They obviously know I do not want to use them, nor will I be moving again in 12 months. This company is a total scam artist, rip off company. Stay far away from them. Never call their number.User's recommendation: Do not even TRY to use them.

Do not use this company! They will lowball you on a quote and have you confirm a hefty deposit. Then they call you after the three day window to return your deposit & quote you double if not more. I tried canceling and they are only offering credit. I don't trust this company with my stuff after this, no way! BAIT & SWITCH, BUYER BEWARE!

Terrible service. Promised what they couldn’t deliver. Said they could break down a pool table they could not. They are a broker. They hired someone else to move my items, a baby grand piano, dinning table, chairs, three piece couch, and hot tub. Truck arrived couldn’t make it up the driveway, truck driver said they only had vertical space, they couldn’t move the piano or hot tub and I had no room on their truck. So nothing was moved, o one called me to reschedule, I called customer service only to be told to send in an email, o did heard nothing for two weeks. Called back was told someone from escalation would call me, another week went by NOTHING. I called them finally was told I was entitled to a refund but they were open to reschedule. Another week and NO CALL. I should get a layer they took a deposit on something they couldn’t move and seems they had no intention on moving frauds.

Horrible!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Worst moving company possible. Do not trust William who offers his personal number which I am thinking is a burner cell phone number. William does not answer ever. If you get hooked beyond a contract good luck getting your money or your stuff back or your stuff moved. Company is not gentle with your goods or household items ( they treat all stuff like trash) They do not use reputable companies for money transfers, but are super quick to take your money. Customer Care center lacks empathy and plays pass the buck to the next person running you in circles till you are just Peeee'd off. Worst company ever!!! Do not ever use!!! This company is the worst ever!!!

I called Countrywide Relocation for a last minute move, I spoke to both John and William on the phone who were very friendly. I ended up booking them as William said he was able to give me a good deal. I booked them for $2300 for a one bedroom apartment move transporting items two hours away. I double checked my inventory on the paperwork before signing and paying my deposit, it was correct so I provided a deposit. The day of the move the truck showed up two hours late only after I called them repetitively. Once they finally showed up, they refused to take half my items that were on the inventory without paying double what I agreed to. This resulted in me having to throw out these items as I had no way to transport them. Over $1500 in furniture. I have spoken to this company repetitively and they will not even give me a partial refund. Whatever you do, do not under any circumstances book through this company.

Complete scam. They made me put down a large 1300 dollars deposit and told me I had 3 days to cancel. I canceled the next day. They took my money out anyway and now nobody will call me back. They give me the run around that it’s in there canceled department and there is nobody there. SCAM. SCAM SCAM!!!

Called asking for a quote. Gave them a time window (flexible) and inventory list…they just kept talking about the housing market and their live dispatch. I told them I just needed a quote and they hung up on me. Scam. Stay away.

This company is a complete scam. I was working with a different mover, and this company contacted me as if they were already in a relationship with me. They high pressured me into signing an immediate contract with them and then required me to pay a significant deposit for a move date they selected. No one ever showed up on the moving date or afterwards and once I asked for a refund, they simply ghosted me. Read their reviews carefully everywhere you can find reviews...I wish I had realized they weren't the company I had actually been working with!.

Avoid this company. They are a "bait and switch" organization. I received an estimate from Allen Cohen, Senior Moving Coordinator for $3430 to move my disabled brother from South Carolina to Wisconsin. After they loaded his stuff, the movers told my brother Terry that he now owed over $3000 for a move that he was led to believe was about $3430 total. He's already paid over $1500. He should only owe them $1500 or so more. The salesman make promises and then hand us off to Customer Care. Then the run around really begins. Different dates and Miscommunications. My brother suffers every day from physical and mental ailments due in large part from his action in Vietnam. This company believes in kicking a man that is down. His wife died two months ago.Rip off artists!
