“Nice 2 floor store with plenty to see and buy. You can take the stairs to the second floor or if stairs aren't for you, there's an elevator.?? There is even a big retro NYC Lego Taxi you can sit in. Pretty cool photo props and ops!
BEWARE: No usable restrooms
A store that sells items for children through adulthood should have a public restroom. It's just common sense, especially since some people spend an hour or more there creating personal LEGO® products.”

“I recently celebrated my birthday in American Girl NYC. I'm a young adult doll collector from Europe and I'd been dreaming of getting the full AG experience since I was 8 years old. It was all I had hoped for!!I went with my best friend and the service at the New York Cafe was brilliant— our server, Christian, was incredibly nice and fun, and made our inner child feel positively spoiled. A true professional! Special thank you to him and Keyshawn for singing happy birthday and making our experience so much better. I had an amazing time and made some lovely memories. Until next time, American Girl!”
“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”
“FAO Schwarz was a nice toy store. It is large and well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We went here for the Jellycat Diner, and I have to say that it was very fun and cool. However, if you want to experience it you need to make a reservation a month or two in advance. Also, there may be a line to get in as we experienced, so just keep that in mind when planning a visit here. A negative is that it can get quite crowded inside, but other than that there isn’t too much to complain about. I would say it is worth a visit if you are in New York and love toy stores, or are especially a fan of Jellycats.”
“This store may not have the largest footprint, but they make excellent use of the space they have. The walls are filled with well-organized displays and eye-catching box sets, and a few larger LEGO builds are showcased throughout the shop. Overall, it’s a fun and worthwhile stop for both locals and visitors.”

“Love to go there - amazing selection - but you have to understand the experience. It contains a HUGE selection of games, and RPG books. Might be the most in NY State outside of the huge Millennium games up in Rochester. I've found items that have been out of print for years, or had small production runs.
BUT...
Stacked in huge shelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. It takes a while to read through everything! With tiny aisles that barely have room for one person to walk down. If you're claustrophobic, be warned!
It's almost all at MSRP. Not a place to get a bargain or a deal, generally (that said, they do have a bargain shelf at the back of the store. Right hand aisle, left side all the way back).”

“Excellent engaged staff. Finally have Starbucks and B&N fully integrated. Sorry to see the loss of a floor. Loved how they got me a book I needed in a day or two that Amazon -didn't have...and no pressure to buy it. So, i read 1/2 in the store and enjoyed it enough to take it home. Great experience!! “Great gift shop, has all the regular stuff you’d want to find, but the prices are fair, and the staff are very friendly and kind.
We even got a holiday gift of a free magnet.

“I love that B&N is pet friendly. It's a great place to visit, browse for my next read, and take the fur-baby for a climate controlled walk through the aisles. If you or your dog get thirsty, you can stop at the Starbucks in the store for a drink and sit at the cafe tables or comfy chairs. My dog loved her pup-accino. Side note, taking a dog to such locations is also great for dog training, provided you hold the leash tight and remain aware of other dogs and people/children who may be fearful of dogs.”
“Took my son here for the first time, he has been asking me since he saw their table at NA day event. He’s very into Pokémon cards right now. As we were browsing one of the gentlemen gave him a Halloween pack right away. We bought 3 packs and had a good conversation. As we were about to leave the 2 guys gave my son a whole stack of holographic cards for free. There ended up being a holographic gyrados in that stack of cards and my son has been hoping for that card in every pack he opens, it made his day. Great customer service and highly recommend. Great people. Thank you again!”

Fun store to walk around and get lost in nostalgia. Wouldn't get my comics from any other shop. Even if I was in a life-threatening situation, I'd still pick Zapp! Comics. “Great local comic book shop in the fashionable Greenpoint Williamsburg area just a few minutes from a subway station.
The shop is not large but full of back issues as well as newer comics, cards, and toys.

“Who doesn't love a bookstore! Thank goodness BN still exists! Otherwise, I would not be able to share my love of books and bookstores with my grandchildren. The best part for all of us (well, for me) is the toy section (telescopes, microscopes, you name it, it's there). The Grands also loved the children's book selections.
I must also mention the staff! They were very helpful and pleasant. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, I must give compliments where they are due! Please keep up the good work and great customer service!

Their good deals, fast shippings, amazing rewards program, and most importantly customer service support was what I liked the most! Elon, the representative, was THE BEST representative ever. “Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“Had appointment at 1300 got there at 7 am got to the door at 1030 load less than hour friendly people work there can park there at the end of the building besides old trailer at the end of the parking lot right backing up at the door due to the wall in the way but overall good experience will return again”
