Make sure you check your receipt before leaving the store. More than once, I was charged the wrong price (actually, whoever was at the checkout, put in the wrong code and I was charged a higher price). Not acceptable.

I bought a box of chips for my daughter worth $11. When I got home, I discovered that I forgot it under the shopping cart. I called the store 2 hours later and the lady in customer service told me they had the box but to claim it, I need my receipt. Unfortunately, I lost my receipt. Called again today and customef service insisted that I bring the receipt. I am sure no other customer complained about their missing box of chips. If I complain, why not give it to me instead of keeping it for the store. Why would I lie over $11?

Decent grocer. Appears to spin off Shop Rite. Fresh produce (even for winter - a strong point), deli and meats. Lots of prepared and baked goods. Popular place. Always packed w/less than adaquate parking.

Rude customer service. They treat you like you're a thief. Will not be shopping here and I urge everyone to shop elsewhere. BRING BACK FOODTOWN. New store policies are horrible.

This morning: Vegetable display with box of yellow squash, a box of green zucchini and a box of eggplant with a $.99/pound sign in front - I took 2 green zucchini and 2 yellow squash. At checkout, I was charged $1.29/pound for yellow squash. When I questioned this, was told only green squash and eggplant was $.99/pound. The sign in front of the 3 boxed items is very-purposely misleading!! It reads Green squash and eggplant $.99/pound, yet the yellow squash is front and center in this display. When I complained to the lady monitoring the self checkout- she did nothing. When I complained to the produce guy, he said I will tell my manager - I stressed it was misleading to both employees- both of whom couldn't have cared less. Very poor customer service and but excellent deception!!!!!

The absolute rudest staff (all three ) that i've ever encountered in a store. Stopped in here for one item. The cashier, the courtesy desk representative including Charlie (Supervisor) . Dont ask a question about a price, they will make you feel terrible for asking and you will only get attitude back. Im not even sure how these people hold jobs. Wakefern and this store mananger should be embarassed and angry. They must be losing business due to these staff members. p.s. the cashier was busy staring at her phone with an empty register instead of helping customers lined up in the self service in the next aisle.

DONT GO HERE if you want to feel like you’re a thief and being watched every single second if you like going to self checkout!!! The employees at self checkout are the worst they are rude and have an attitude and don’t even greet you or try to make friendly conversation. They’ll just stare at you the entire time waiting for you to steal something. They could really use some tips from Kings up the road because I go there just as frequently and use self checkout and the employees there are very nice and greet you every single time! They do not stare at you or make you feel like a thief doing something wrong when you’re just trying to buy your things. God forbid you mis scan something by accident as well. They’ll come running to you. I much rather spend the extra $2 on things at kings than to go to fresh grocer.

I go to the supermarket all the time. Today I was stopped when I was trying to leave with my cart to pack my trunk. I was told that you cannot bring carts outside. They refuse to let me do it, even though I told them that I always do it and always bring back the cart. They were very obnoxious about it so I’m very annoyed. That also have a horrible butcher section that is almost always unstaffed. I would go to ShopRite in Little Falls, where they are not militant about enforcing stupid policies.

This store is literally useless. Employees stand around and talk , give you an attitude when you need help and their selection is extremely limited. Never coming here again.

The Fresh Market of Cedar Grove ,What keeps me coming back over & over ??Is their fresh SEAFOOD/ FISH Department. Seafood is super fresh , with a great variety . They manage to get local in season fresh whole and filets caught in the waters of NJ when available .Whoever is their seafood buyer definitely knows his stuff !!! Their prices are fair for the qualityThe Seafood counter personnel are accommodating and knowledgable .
