“I don’t often post reviews, but Well Pet Animal Hospital goes above and beyond for the pets and families they care for. We recently moved to NJ from Texas, where we had a very friendly vet who was not necessarily doing what was best for our elderly dog. Dr. Wellington changed his treatment completely, sparing him an unnecessary surgery. I truly believe that these changes gave him a new lease on life.
We recently lost our sweet boy to cancer. The entire staff at Well Pet, who I’ve come to know and who I look forward to seeing and working with, was kind, caring, and thoughtful throughout the diagnosis and grieving process. Dr. Wellington’s changes to his medication and treatment may well have given us more time with him and certainly made his final months happier and healthier.
We have another dog who is much younger, and I expect her to be a Well Pet patient for her lifetime. They have my trust and my respect after 14 years as a pet owner.”

“Highly recommend Valley Animal Hospital. Have been going there for about five years since I had my first puppy. Dr. Thompson is our main vet and she is always nothing short of phenomenal, always makes us feel welcome, and is receptive to our needs. Dr. Henderson is a fantastic vet and surgeon who supported us while my pup required surgery for a tumor. The staff is always efficient and friendly. The price is reasonable as they are comprehensive with everything they do. Overall, a great experience. I am happy to bring my new puppy there to receive care.”

“When Dr. Dulude moved to Caldwell, it became a longer ride for our furbabies to take - and they're not the biggest fans of carriers and cars. But going to the new office is well worth it. She and her staff are wonderful with our cats, and they're not traumatized by the visit in the least. “I’ve been seeing Dr. Hoskin for a little over a year now, since she worked at a previous facility. She started taking care of my Frenchie when he was only about 10 weeks old. It was a no brainer to follow her when she started working at Wayne animal hospital. I cannot put into words how much of a relief it is, as a pet owner, to have a vet you wholeheartedly trust. She is one of the most kind, compassionate and caring people I have ever met. She treats my Duke with so much love. He gets excited every time he goes to the vet, because he loves her so much. She is always honest with me about treatment and pricing. This is my first time owning a pet on my own, and she’s had to deal with me coming in for every little thing and she always validates my worries and eases my anxiety, every single time. Not only Dr. Hoskin, but everyone at the animal hospital are just the nicest people. They all take such good care of my boy. Another plus, is they are very reasonably priced and affordable. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hoskin or the entire staff at Wayne animal hospital. They are truly the best of the best!”

“My appointment for my parrot Beto was on July 26, 2024 with Dr. Perez. My partner and I drove 1 hour to take our baby here for his wellness exam, nail clipping and DNA exam (to find out his gender). Dr. Perez was beyond AMAZING. She treated Beto like if he was a real baby, with so much care, passion and love. I can tell immediately Dr. Perez LOVES what she does. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to exotic animals/pets. It was so hard for me to find a local exotic veterinarian in my area, which is why we made the 1 hour drive because Beto's nails needed to be trimmed ASAP and I wanted him to get seen by a knowledgeable doctor. It was so worth it going to this establishment.
Dr. Perez conducted the exam in front of us. Beto was trying to fight Dr. Perez but he calmed down. Once Beto was put back in his cage, he drank water and looked fine. Once we got home, Beto was acting like if nothing ever happened to him an hour before. He was back to being himself.
Beto's vet is no longer in the area which is why I had to find him a new vet. Dr. Perez will be in my area every other week so in the future, we will book ahead of time. Thank you Dr. Perez and the vet technician for taking care of Beto so well during his appointment. Beto was getting so many compliments from Dr. Perez and the vet technician because he is so healthy and well taken care of, it made me feel very special hearing it from the experts in exotic animals.
I highly recommended Dr. Perez to anyone who owns a parrot, macaw, or any exotic pet.”

“Dr. Wilson has been our vet for 20+ years. He's taken care of 2 dogs and 7 or 8 cats through the years. He's been knowledgeable and kind towards all the cats, even the ones that aren't happy to be there and give him a hard time. Somehow he gets them to calm down and allow him to look them over. His prices are fair too. Staff are friendly as well.”
