Two years ago, I needed a signature guarantee and I was treated as if I had leprosy by the Cherry Hill staff. As my CDs expires I withdrew the funds and deposited them at Navy Federal Credit Union.

Staff (2) was friendly, but more importantly, they knew their products. I came in to rest my password, and left with CD, and paid off my 24% credit card. They helped streamline my debt.

Worst banking experience ever I have been backing with them as an extra account put in for multiple car loans even tho I don’t have and car loan on my credit report and kept getting denied and was told I need perfect credit in order to get approved.

I opened my account here for the first time in Cherry Hill on September 2, 2023. The Black woman who assisted me was very kind, but I have not seen her since. I was immediately asked via email to give my review, which I happily did so on the next day. I then started to receive several inconvenient and unfocused phone calls while I was at work teaching children, asking me only if I had any questions about my account, to which I stated that I did not, also advising that my phone needed to stay on for work purposes and these random phone calls were a huge distraction for my classes and also would prevent me from answering their calls because I would not know the difference between a legitimate, worrisome call and a frivolous one. I had to ask three times for the calls to stop unless it is an emergency, before they actually stopped. I appreciate customer service, however, the strange thing is that when i go to the branch every week (same exact place where I opened my account and where they are familiar with me), I am never greeted, smiled at nor asked if I can be assisted in any way by the people there, and usually it is the same middle aged white man sitting at reception. I hinted two months ago to this same man to the fact that he didn't acknowledge me when i was waiting in the lobby for over five minutes, alone, and he seemed slightly offended and as of today when I went in, he still not not greet me. I have been in customer service for years prior to teaching, and this behavior would be completely unacceptable. Not so much as an "hello" is given. I have seen other customers acknowledged. I do not care what anyone thinks, I think that this is a racial issue, that the bank has only Black workers work with Black customers, as the few times that I have been helped inside has been by other Blacks while the others get to chill. I should have waited several months before giving my review, and I will be looking to move my money. I am now in a graduate program full time and have more options. Black people, do not settle! Know your power and do not give your support or be used for marketing purposes.Go where you are respected and wanted just as much as your hard-earned green money.
