I wish I could give them ZERO stars. This place serves as a reminder of toxic consumerism for me. My one month old kittens foot got caught in a door and was bleeding pretty bad. Like most normal pet parents we wanted to make sure he was ok. Well, unfortunately this happened during a snow storm and upon our arrival it was very clear that the staff wanted to leave early due to this. Instead of them telling us that they were leaving early due to the storm the receptionist lied about their closing time and then pretended to ask the doctor if he could take us. It was very obvious and embarrassing. She must have went in the back for a total of 30 (not even a full minute) seconds before coming out to tell us no. If they would’ve just told us the truth this review wouldn’t be here. Sickening business. Sick people who do not care about the animals that they service. Go anywhere else.

I was very pleased with my experience with Banfield, I took my kitten there because she was sick and she had a nosebleed. The doctor told us she had a virus and gave her antibiotics that saved her life.

I took my dog there for his right side ear infection. But the vet checked the wrong side of ear. When we were on the phone at the end of session, the vet was even trying to cover it. She said she spoke wrong by mistake. Shame if her.I didn’t know she checked the wrong ear until I took my dog there two weeks later. His ear got worse. the next vet told me his last treatment was about left side. I feel so bad for my boy ?. And I submitted a complaint to the hospital. Until now, no one gave me any feedback.

You will help strays and not in-house cats that don't make any sense ...

The vet misdiagnosed my cat. said he had an infection - he died two days later. I recommend she take a refresher course! Do not take your pet to the Banfield in Cherry Hill, NJ!

We have been to three Banfield Pet Hospitals in our area over the last 5-6 years. If you love your pet, find a good vet. This company is not very good and does not employ the most competent individuals. Banfield will send you home with medicine b/c they simply do not know how diagnose and treat your pets vs other Vets/Animal Hospitals, which are much more advanced with equipment, staff and Veterinarians (DOCTORS).

They will literally cancel appointments if you don’t confirm via phone…even if you confirm via their text messaging appointment reminder (so not really sure what the point is) the vet techs seem inexperienced , I only say this because they were unable to restrain my dog for her vaccines and this has honestly never been a problem with her before. The vet tech was also super jumpy when my dog just turned her head towards her and was claiming she was trying to bite her (she wasn’t,I watched the whole interaction)… but to be honest I’ve just never seen a vet tech present so anxiously around any of my animals before and her jumpy energy around my dog was 100% making the situation worse. They prescribed my dog sedating meds just to come back for her vaccines but like I said we’ve been to other vets many times before and this has never been an issue. Will definitely be considering a new location or get all together.

I brought my cat in for a routine check up and he was having difficulty breathing, so they put him on oxygen and said he has anxiety and did not do any further testijg. Now he is dead from cancer that could have been caught sooner.

They are good, but timing might be an issue. Typical exams and vet letters that take a couple of ours in other vet offices, can take up to a week or more to be sent.

Banfield overcharges on a constant basis. They charge you a exam fee every time you walk in the door even if you have just received one and had to return because of their error. They forgot a vaccine for my dog and I had to return to get it and I was charged again! It’s not just this location, the moorestown location is horrible as well. Customer service is horrible. I feel like they are the medical version of a puppy mill. My puppy is 15 months old and every time we come, there is some sort of drama and upcharging involved. Today, I got all my records and I am transferring my puppies care to another vet.

Not just the cherry hill office is jacked up the entire franchise is a total mess I wish I could give them zero stars I've been to several locations and it's problems and incompetence at everyone of the locations I been too I would be writing all day about my many complances but I think it start at the top with the managers and doctors all can say is I hate the place and they will rip you off with every fee they can if you don't pay attention or argue with the.

I waited a month to get an appointment where I could be present with my dog. Two days before the appointment I was told that I have to wait in my car and was not going to be able to see the vet to talk about my concerns. I was told that this is their policy.I go to a Doylestown Vet for manipulation on my senior dog every 4 weeks and I am present to talk to the vet.Everyone is masked and kept at social distances.People see the dentist, go to their doctors and understand about masking and vaccines to keep everyone safe.I asked to speak to a supervisor and was just told again that this is the policy.Very unsatisfied and will cancel my membership which I have held for 9 years!appointment

I had two bad experiences at Banfield Hospital of Cherry Hill.1) My dog came in for a rabies vaccine and the appointment itself and actually speaking with the vet was all of 10 minutes. The waiting around time was 45 minutes with an appointment. The vet found some concerns and spoke to me for 5 minutes. After getting my after visit paperwork, I read into it and there were other listed concerns that she didn't even bother mentioning since we were being rushed out for the next appointment. On top of that, the check out process was long and additional wait time.2) I called to schedule for a dental procedure. A time and date was provided along with pricing. I call the day prior to the scheduled appointment to ask a few additional questions. It turns out that whoever I spoke with never bothered to put me on the schedule.Banfield Hospital in Cherry Hill is extremely disorganized and makes patients feel rushed during their appointments. When rushing the appointment, they fail to cover all findings of your pet. They give you the paperwork afterwards and if you catch anything, that's when you would call to follow up. Scheduling seems to be a nightmare as well because now my pet's procedure must be pushed back due to their mistake. No apologies or solutions were even offered.Update:Fast forward to my pet's day of his dental procedure...The doctor reviews my pet's medical records sent over weeks prior. He tells me that he is uncomfortable with performing the procedure and would recommend one of his colleages instead for a different day. I appreciate the honesty! However, this whole thing could've been avoided if they reviewed his medical records prior to his procedure day! My pet had to fast, nothing to eat or drink since midnight. He ate the evening prior. He's a senior dog. It's just extremely inconsiderate to put pets through unecessary fasting. This is the third problem I've had with Banfield. Writing this review to inform others because Banfield does not reach back out to remediate the problems or offer apologies. It might be a sign to look elsewhere.
