Friend took vehicle for work at this now closed shop, 2 months ago and today same problem...he took it to another shop only to be told the previous repair was shoddy and not done correctly...costs to repair over $1000.?

I’ve ALWAYS been pleased with the service at Bowkers. I find them to be very efficient, honest and reasonable in price. Gabby is an excellent mechanic and knows what he’s doing! And for those who complain about the hours not being 24/7 anymore…..neither is Walmart and a lot of other companies.

first off..NOT OPEN 24 HOURS. 2nd...i had been coming here for a couple years now but am finally fed up with gabbys aweful mechanis skills. i was even there yesterday for him to fix a flat tire i had. he gave me an attitude cause i wanted him to put the tire back on my car even AFTER he couldnt even find where the obvious leak was. and i STILL gave him 20.00 and he couldnt even fix it. took my car to mr tire down the road and they found the leak in 2 mins. also i had a different car last year that he charged me like 450 to change my radiator. even after he put the new one in the car STILL Smelled of burning anti freeze so badly i had to drive with my windows closed all the time. also he had given that same car a tune up for 400 cause the engine was hesitating and he said it needed it. well guess what, it still hesitated badly after and he said it shouldnt be. hes aweful.

After being quoted extremely high prices at several other mechanic shops, And provided my lousy customer service, Gabi beat the price of everyone by quite a bit. He was also honest enough to tell me that some of the things that need to be done, don't. He did an outstanding job fixing my car. Trustworthy, reliable, honest, fast, and excellent service. Wish I could give him 10 stars.
