I wish I could give this branch ZERO stars-all tellers are rude,lazy and unprofessional. Needless to say, I won't be going back to this branch EVER.STAY AWAY!

I was racially discriminated against by the manager yesterday at First Trust Bank. I went in to open up a new account for my non profit as well as open up a new personal account at the recommendation one of my attorneys who also banks there. I was interrogated by the manager who wanted to know why I wanted to open up an account because I’m from “Camden.” She questioned my State issued ID and accused me of not being LEVI COMBS, III. Had she done her due diligence, she could’ve easily googled my name and discovered that not only am I a pastor of two churches in Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA, but I am also a staunch social justice activist. I was beyond hurt and embarrassed. I’m praying for her and the hatred the she showed towards me yesterday as a racist privileged white woman. The Lord teaches us to love our enemies and to do good to those that persecute you.+ Bishop Levi Combs, III

Great, friendly experience. They made banking fun. I made an appointment and was taken care of with no wait. I was greeted by name, like Norm on Cheers.

Avoid this bank at all costs. Old lady with white hair full of attitude. Tellers are clueless. Take business somewhere else. Lack of communication is the goal at this bank.

No complaints against the Cherry Hill Branch but I strongly recommend staying away from this bank if you are looking to secure a mortgage. We've had over 15 mortgages in our lifetime and this bank is by far the worst - for service and competence. They are confused on what requires payment via escrow, are rude on the phone and refused to put their demands in writing to me. I had to spend HOURS straightening out my flood insurance bill that they refused to pay. I sent a copy of the bill to them on 4-5 as I sensed the competence level at this bank was sub par. I received acknowledgement on 4-6 of the bill, but zero feedback on the fact that they had no intention of paying the bill. I should have known when they changed my payment amount 2 days after closing that they were inexperienced and frankly, clueless. They also insisted I get a contents policy and my insurance agent had to spend a good amount of time outlining the policy and highlighting the paragraph that states contents is included. I've never had one complaint about a mortgage provider. My advice is - steer clear of this bank for mortgages.
