I searched high and low for a place to frame my 43x47 painting that I purchased from Bali. Michael's wanted to charge almost $700 to do the job. Another smaller, private company wanted to charge close to that as well. After searching high and low for 2 months, I came across an advertisement for Hobby Lobby. The online ad mentioned 50% off on framing. I immediately jumped in my car and drove to Cherry Hill. Upon arrival, I found a bustling store with a lot of people. I made my way back to the framing section and was met by a nice young lady who helped me pick out a frame and went over a few details. Once she rang up everything, she told me the price. I almost fainted bc I had prepared myself to hear another $600-$700 quote/estimate. Nope! The cost at Hobby Lobby was $299 + tax. I almost threw my panting over the counter bc I was so happy. I was given an invoice and due date to pick-up my framed painting.I arrived 2 weeks later to pick-up the painting and I could not have been happier. I am totally in love with how everything turned out. I truly appreciate Hobby Lobby for helping me in my time of need and for upgrading my painting!!

What a great store if you enjoy arts and crafts! My Son wanted to do colored sand art in a bottle down the beach on the boardwalk but I just couldn't see us paying $25 for a coke bottle full of sand. Searching online I found Hobby Lobby has a full assortment of bottles/jars and sand colors. I was able to get 3 jars, funnels and sand for around $30 and we have plenty sand left to do 3 or 4 more jars. The employees are super nice and helpful in helping you find what you need.*Warning the store is a little overwhelming so be sure you have time as there is so much to see*

It's a cool store, however I have always found it to be a little bit expensive... Very friendly and helpful staff though! Decent selection of all sorts of Hobbies and other things to occupy your free time!

Hobby Lobby in Cherry Hill NJ is the best! Store manager Emma was a great help and the team was the happiest crew I've seen! Store was clean, neat, impeccable! Can't wait to go back!

Having one poster framed here to pick up when completed and a second done today with a ready made frame with water color cut to fit. Excellent help given to me in choices!

Shopping in the store is like shopping at a high school where the principal and all the teachers have left for the day. I heard at least five things break while I was there, mostly done by staff. The staff were just not professional in their behavior, or their language . The amount of boxes to go on the floor & unpack getting ready for the next season is overwhelming.

I have been in this store many times, love that they have so many selections and most staff are nice. HOWEVER, few days ago was there and a lady name Jennifer was the most rude and ignorant person I’ve seen. No customer service what’s so ever. Needs more training to learn how to talk to ppl and to do her job instead of being in the bathroom gossiping with coworkers. Staff like her gives bad reputation to the store and other staff that do know about customer service.

I gave 5 stars because I love Hobby Lobby, and MOST of the employees are friendly & helpful. The one manager at the time of this review needs some training herself. I was charged sales tax on yarn and didn’t realize it until after I got home. When I drove the 45 minutes back to the store to get my $4.99 in tax back, the girl working the refund-exchange register was the one who originally rang me up and charged me the tax. She said all clearance is taxed. I said “no it’s not. yarn isn’t”. She said there is no way to change it to not charge tax. I said “yes there is. It’s the same as if it was full price yarn. You have to hit the yarn key on your register to make it non-taxable” She looked bewildered. She called the manager over. I explained the situation. The manager said “you have to tell us you are using the yarn for clothing so we can make it not taxable”. I said “no I don’t. That’s not it works. Yarn is rung up with the yarn key on the register and it’s automatically non-taxable”. Then she said,” did you bring the yarn?” I said,”no. I bought 68 skeins and took the clearance tags off when I got home. I also bought $100 worth of yarn from each of 2 other stores and took the clearance stickers off them so I don’t know exactly which skeins were bought at this particular store. I realized your store charged me tax after I had finished taking all the tags off and combined the yarn from all 3 stores.” She said “I have to check the camera footage but I can’t do that right now. We are busy”. Then she walked away. She wasn’t smiling. She had a blasé attitude and wasn’t helpful at all. She wasn’t that busy. She was standing there watching everyone work. So I called customer service after the weekend. The lady there was FANTASTIC. She took down the receipt info. I’m sure they have access to the camera footage (or call the store for it) so they can see it was indeed YARN that I bought that day and not 68 of some other kind of needle arts craft. She asked if it was ok to get the tax refunded to the card I used to pay. I said yes. She said she would follow up with me and let me know when to see my $4.99 refund. This whole deal irritates me because I was a customer service manager for a huge retail chain in my mid 20s. I trained HUNDREDS of new employees from all the stores in our area. I was also an assistant manager and then acting manager of a Joann store (while in college). The fact this MANAGER doesn’t even know yarn is rung makes me wonder WHO is training these people??? This wouldn’t fly under MY watch. You can’t blame the employees if they aren’t trained properly. That’s MANAGEMENT’s fault. That’s how businesses go down the drain. That’s why I called corporate. They need to know what’s going on at the store level and make changes.

Hobby Lobby is definitely one of my favorite stores. Every time you go, you find great deals and surprises. The employees go out of their way to provide excellent service and keep the place clean and pleasant.

If it's possible to love a store, this is the store. It has everything you could want for crafts and decor at affordable prices. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

What can I say, you promise yourself "Walk in there and get those three tubes of paint and leave". Somehow you'll walk out in a daze about 2.7 shopping cart worth of frames you swear you'll have sprayed and distressed for that poster. Those brushes and 16 extra tubes of paint, ink and sketchbook you'll never get too. And i'll do it again. Just a joy to be in there and get inspired of all the things you want to create.

There's not much in the line of jewelry making, like the other Hobby lobby stores in other towns. GREAT for everything else. I feel it had more ready-made products. LESS DIY. It is in a money area, so Diy it isn't as needed.

This place has everything. Crafters will find an extensive array of items and many on sale. At this time, (September) Christmas items at 50% off & Fall at 40%. Besides craft items, Hobby Lobby has great mirrors, gifts and a large flower display. The store was huge. Will be shopping here more than the other craft stores. A must visit.Side note. Make a list of what you need, as you will walk out with more.
