Found some goodies there. Found a Haslab Galactus unopened. The shop is so unassuming from the quaint surroundings of Merchantville; but, when you walk in... whoa!!! I had to use triage for figuring out what I wanted to buy. I will definitely be returning.

My older son and I went recently to Plunder Palace. There was a fantastic selection of books. There were so many that I wound up spending WAY more than I planned. Mark, the owner, was just a fantastic guy: friendly, funny, and very fair. We need to go back!!

Good selection of new comics. Also has back issues and bargain bin. Found some old comics I needed. Store owner was pleasant and gave me a discount for my purchase. Place is clean and taken care of. Would go again.

Amazing first experience.Mark the owner was so detailed about all of the amazing selection of vintage toys , and collectible’s.My son who is 8 just started reading comics a few years ago and this place is perfect for him , and serious collectors.Mark the owner even did a magic card trick that blew my mind away.Must visit 5 star shop with all you need !Thanks Mark

I don't enjoy having Rush Limbaugh's hate speech loudly played in my ear while I'm looking at & considering buying comics, but that's what the proprietor of this store thought was a smart thing to do. Shame, there were 2 or 3 wall books I would have looked closer at, and I had over an hour of rare free time to go box hunting set aside, instead I left empty handed after about 5 minutes on my first trip there.Who does that and expects to keep customers in their store? Their comic book store? I mean, we love our fiction but not delusional, dangerous, conspiracy spewing hate monger fiction.

Great little comic store, the owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to make your experience a good one. I was looking to introduce my son into comic books and he was very helpfulI will be a regular customer there from here on out.

I returned to Plunder Palace shortly after it reopened from its temporary summer hiatus. But this time, the experience left much less to be desired. Even though I was the only one in the shop, I was barely acknowledged, let alone made to feel welcomed. When the owner finally did emerge from the back office, I honestly got the impression that I shouldn't be there. In an attempt to break the awkwardness with some small talk, which didn't go anywhere, I asked if he was getting ready to close. The owner apathetically responded, "Well, I'm still here, aren't I??" At that point, I decided to leave. The collection of books isn't that impressive to stick around. Plus, they are in poor condition and sunbleached from the lack of curtains to block out the afternoon sun pouring in through the windows. I'll take my business elsewhere and where I'm genuinely welcomed.

Mark is phenomenal! The store is incredibly organized, his prices are more than fair, and Mark is extremely personable who goes above and beyond! Great selection of past and present. Again, enough can't be said about Mark and Plunder Palace!
