I love Home Depot but sometimes finding help can be a challenge. But you can't beat the prices.

This store is a complete mess. The parking lot is a disaster, over crowded. The cashiers, associates and every staff that I encountered were either speaking Spanish, talking down to one another, or making inappropriate jokes or not helping customers. The aisles were disorganized and products on the floor. Some customers were so rude and ignorant entering the exit while staff stand there and say nothing and allow it to disrupts the flow of the line. I was trying to check out and a man was rushing me and putting his items on my items while I was in self checkout out. Really?! Cars are parked out front of the store blocking traffic from getting out of the parking lot.

Was immediately put on hold without a greeting, on hold for 10 minutes, and they hung up on me.

Expected to arrive at this Home Depot around 9pm, an hour before they close. I live in Philly, and am about a 20min drive from this location. One detour and two wrong turns later, I arrived 20-30min before they closed. I'd had a very long, and frustrating day, and walked into the store completely frantic and distracted. Wasted 15min looking at tiles, absent all problem solving and decision making skills. Next thing I know, I'm being guided to the other aisle I needed. Found empty packaging for the product I was looking for, had zero f**ks left, when the manager Jason appeared asked if he could help. The store had officially closed, but he grabbed a ladder to get the item down from top stock, and helped me figure out exactly what else I needed in conjunction with the tool. I was *shocked* by how calm, patient, and genuinely kind Jason was; I rarely come across people like him who provide excellent customer service, plus, go beyond what's expected in order to help someone. Jason helped me for what I'm guessing was 20min past closing; he wasn't irritated, and smiled and joked while helping me. He successfully exorcised my crappy mood, and I left with a smile on my face, feeling much calmer than I had for most of my day. More people deserve to know that being their genuine selves, and providing help to someone who needs it--no matter how big or small--made a positive impact on another person's day.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

Well, here we go just another loss of great service and American pride and spirit.... I am a service connected disabled Veteran. I'm son and I were helping out a friend, who IA also a veteran. We sent my son over to cherry hill home depot to pick up 33 bags of Co Crete and a barrel mixer. He called the pro desk, they got the crate ready for him... No they took the call and did nothing. At that time they got the Crete ready to go. He then went to pay and had my dd- form 214 and he has my last name. They refused to give him the 10% discount. He then went to rental to pick up mixer. Well when he sall the mixer it looked like it had never been cleaned and was junk. He said something to the lady she was like oh well. He came to the house we unloaded the concrete by hand. The last 20 bags out of 33 were hard as a rock. The mixer hardly worked. So we carried the 20 bad bags back to truck and the mixer. It went back, he got more bags of Crete and a new mixer and was told this was the mixer he was always supposed to get.... what the hell right. In the mean time we are loosing the day. People standing around for hours to do this project. He showed back up we finished the job and he took the mixer back. They charged him the day rather then 4 hours. I called the store talked to Collin the MOD. He said home depot only gi es the discount to active duty service members not veterans. That is bull. We will not be shopping at a home depot again as lowes gives me and my family the discount. I think more people should stop shopping at the UN PATRIOTIC! STORE. ALL THIS ON SEPTEMBER 11TH.

The most unprofessional nasty manager I have ever met. I not go here. Too many other locations where they are helpful.

Came here randomly yesterday to pick up an outdoor rug. Honestly had a shockingly good experience. Interacted with 5 workers in the store and they were all great! First person came up to us and asked if we needed help unprompted. He didn't know where the thing we were asking for was so asked someone else. We were told they were out of outdoor rugs. Then we bumped into the guy again elsewhere in the store and he found us again and told us that he was mistaken and where the rugs were. Then we asked another person were some stepstools were who gave us excellent directions. We didn't find the stools, and he bumped into us again later and followed up and suggested we check out another store where we might find what we were looking for. Finally asked another person for a light switch. He couldn't find it and asked another coworker where to look. The second person found us the exact item we needed and explained to us how to install it. Then on the way out we finally bumped into the first guy that greeted us again, and he apologized profusely for leading us astray about the outdoor rugs. It was Easter Sunday afternoon and everyone seemed like they actually liked their jobs, liked helping people, and were happy to be at work. Shopping at large chains often isn't an enjoyable experience, but we actually liked this place. It was so much better than a small hardware store we have in our neighborhood which is a shame. Will be back here for all our home depot needs in the future for sure.

I am a contractor and, as I live close by, I am in the Cherry Hill Home Depot often. I have been to all the other Home Depots and Lowes stores in the region and the Cherry Hill store is, by far, the worst experience you will have with a big box store. To began with, the parking lot is awful- it would be fine if we all drove Cooper Mini's, but contractors drive big trucks, and your walk into and out of the store is often hindered by all the vehicles they allow to park in the loading area. Once inside you will find the aisles - particularly the lumber and drywall aisles- blocked with carts, full of materials, that sit there all day. Shelves are often a mess with misplaced items. In general I have no problem with the employees or the materials I purchase there, its just that the place is usually a mess.

The store is fine. The problem is you can wonder through the store trying to find what you need. They really need more help that can help you find what you need. A trip that should have taken me 15 minutes took me triple that time. Manager should hire more persons and teach them to help customers throughout the store.

The worst HD ever- it's such a shame that they ruin the entire atmosphere of the nice shopping area. Anytime I walk into Lowe's, the workers are always pleasant and helpful. Today there was a young man in the paint department who just could not be bothered to be stopped. When I said, "excuse me" his delayed response was "what?!" So sorry to have mistaken him for an actual employee. Will never shop there again. Also, their "safety measures" they promote on their website are completely nonexistent.

I do not understand how a massive company like Home Depot allows their employees to ignore phone calls Or when you finally reach someone put you on hold for hours and disconnect your call . On the company website it states if interested in a truck or van rental to call and confirm prior . How can I call and confirm when the people that work the rental area do not answer when I call? I am absolutely appalled !

The two stars are for the very few employees who are nice and seem to try to help. My husband and I have been to this store a handful of times, but just about every experience has been frustrating. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers here who've said that the aisles are not very organized and there are carts and clutter everywhere making it difficult to find simple items. During one of our first trips to this store, my husband and I tried searching for whatever we needed but ended up asking for help to find most of it. For example, we were looking for Temp-Vents for our crawlspace. We asked 2 saleswomen who were not in any particular aisle at the moment, and after we described what the vents are used for, they seemed to be familiar with the product and how they work, but didn't know if they were sold at the store. They went ahead to the plumbing aisle and asked the 2 plumbing associates. They didn't seem as familiar with the product, but one of them almost immediately said it is not sold at the store. We then looked it up on the website because we were sure we had seen it online before, and he said that those vents were only sold online. We decided to look around for them anyway and used the website to help pinpoint an aisle. We eventually found them in the roofing/attic section. It's one thing to be unsure about whether a product is sold at the store and try to find out, but to be unsure and confidently say it's not sold there is just annoying. We were disappointed that we were close to walking out without getting what we needed after asking 4 employees for it, but we didn't mention it and we gave the store a few more chances. During our next trip, we spent most of our time in the plumbing aisle to gather what we needed for a French drain. After having someone paged for help and waiting around a while, the plumbing associate finally came by (the same one that said they don't sell Temp-Vents). He looked like he wasn't there to help us, but my husband caught him and asked if they had any corrugated pipes with sleeves. He pointed at another product saying "that's a French drain" and that everything they had was on the shelves already. My husband asked when another shipment would be arriving and the employee said "I don't know" and seemed to be in a rush and not interested so we gave up and didn't bother asking for anything else. We went back to return a couple of items and get a few more items in the plumbing aisle. We needed two 10ft PVC pipes, but wanted to get them cut in half so we could fit them into our car. We asked the associate who happened to be the same man who "helped" us previously. He told my husband "I don't have a cutter, but you can use this saw" and handed my husband a handsaw. Since when do customers cut their own materials? My husband ended up leaning the pipes against the shelf and sawed them in half. I looked around for an employee to help. Another plumbing associate walked by and saw my husband with the saw and quickly started to walk away. We confirmed with another employee that it is not normal policy to have customers cut their own materials. After we checked out, we went to the tool rental dept to get an 18inch trencher and a demo hammer. The woman at the counter explained to us that they had 2 trenchers, but 1 was just sold and the other was broken. She offered to call other locations to see if they have one. We also asked if we could rent a trailer if we were to get one of the bigger ones and she said that the trailer was not available because it had been in an accident. The same went for their spare box truck. Even the door to the tool rental section was not working properly. We asked to see a 3" core bit, and she said that piece was broken too. She explained that people rent tools and return them broken or don't return them at all. Thankfully, she was able to lock down the smaller trencher and the core

I am not a fan of this particular store. The parking lot is a pain and even though it acts as an end store to a large shopping center, it is such as a pain to park and shop. The store layout is very confusing, and the staff is a hit or miss. I usually avoid this location at all costs and will go to Mount Laurel/Maple Shade before going here unless I have no choice. Most of the time the staff is uneducated about the products and don't know where the products are located. I appreciate the other store because I feel the management is better, the staff cares about their customer and are willing to educate and assist them with their product or home improvement needs. If you are wowed, then write a great review because I have yet to wowed.
