This place is awesome. A couple of the employees there just sat and talked to me for at least 10 minutes like a normal human being not trying to push products on me. It was very welcoming and warming to see that they seem the genuinely love what they do. Huge selection on everything games. Not a fan of the computer search for lower priced cards but I can see the pros of not having dozens of people constantly touch and mess with cards potentially leading to more wear and tear. Brands they carry match prices from what I see from the official sites which is awesome and assuring that I am not being over charged. I wish I didn't live so far away or id be here weekly.

My son and I love visiting top deck! We are Pokemon TCG collectors and top deck always seem to have the cards we're looking for. Staff is knowledgeable and fun too.

Amazing store, nothing like it in Philadelphia. Mind blown by the options of MTG sets to choose from and available precons. Massive dice options, graded cards for sale, computer to search there inventory for desired cards. MTG, Pokemon, sleeves, figures, they have it all !

The inside of the store looks good and you begin to realize why when you see their pricing. Its an okay place to go play games as long as you dont plan on spending too much.
The old lady who works there is also pretty rude and condescending, which is fairly common in NJ but its still offputting enough for me not to return here anymore.
Gundam TCG booster packs are also being sold at about 2x the MSRP. They are essentially cutting out the scalper middlemen and doing it themselves.
And I couldnt care less about Nicks reasoning that im sure he will reply with.
Just go look at his other replies.. very inconsistent.

Very good environment, the staff is wonderful. The way they jack up the prices on card sets just isnt great, can definitely find it cheaper elsewhere.

Nice Staff, weird interaction where they take registration fees before confirming attendance, so you can end up paying (without refund) but not getting to play. Wpuld recommend if they fixed this issue, as it leaves a poor taste since there was no warning.

Every employee I've met is amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate from various tcg's to boardgames to DND. I would rather pay Top Deck the market price than allow scalpers have a pay day. People need to start thinking or talking with people rather than think the world is against them.

Really solid selection of card games, singles, miniatures games, board games, fun bits and bobs that are thematically fitting for a game store.
Staff is pretty good as well. Hit or miss depending on who is working but overall a great staff.
Lots of events to get involved in.
Plenty of groups to join if you're looking.

While their stock is impressive, and the staff are very polite, the pricing is simply offensive. They sell sealed product over market price (not MSRP) and are soon to host a pre-release for a hyped up MTG set at DOUBLE the cost of all of the other stores in the area. I cannot in good conscience patronize a store that exists as a streamlined scalping operation.

Guys, why is the MTG Final Fantasy already $50 over MSRP for the standard pre-order? And the collector is $375...?
It's already bad enough fighting scalping bots online and the LGSs are joining them 🤦♂️
The store is nice and staff are cool, but shopping here is becoming redundant.

Used to be a really fun place to go until they jacked up the pricing and some of the staff started to be rude to my friends and I. Dont think ill be coming back anytime soon and that's a true shame due to how much I used to like it here.
I hope things change so we can come back.
