“Such great quality clothes. The employees are so empathetic and love their job, they are also very good at them. Heather helped me so quickly find my size and be out in no time, usually these types of shopping take very long and are frustrating. HIGHLY recommend, they are on sale! Thank you Heather!”

“Mercantile on Main is a welcome addition to the Chester Shopping District, offering a one-stop shop with three separate purveyors offering everything from carefully curated, locally produced soaps from the Steam Soapery, to candles from Chester Candle Company, to home decor, jewelry, clothing, hot sauces, bbq sauces, and cards for yourself or as a gift for others from Mercantile on Main. Chester Candle Company offers premade options as well as custom-made candles! You can design and pour your own fragrance (with professional assistance!). The associates are helpful without being overbearing; the prices for products are higher than for equivalent mass-produced goods but reflect the time and effort that have gone into their production. In other words, if you're looking for cheap soap or candles or bbq sauce, go to Wal*Mart.. but if you're looking for unique, handcrafted items for your home or as a gift for someone else, then Mercantile on Main fits the bill.Pro Tip: Free off-street parking is available in the lot behind the shopping district off Perry Street and Main Street/NJ Route 24.”
