This is one of my favorite stores in Morris County (and the owners are incredibly down to earth people who genuinely care about their customers). “Update 2024 - MUCH BETTER!
Seems since changing to Green's they have all new workers -- FRIENDLY ONES! Great job on the upgrade. My husband and I shopped comfortably yesterday and were able to look around effortlessly. The store is small but if you go on an "off" day, you can find everything. They have Gopals seaweed snacks -- my favorites, frozen vegan bagels without sugar or gluten (all natural), and many other unique goodies you can't find elsewhere. Both the new manager and the cashier were VERY NICE. My only advice, to the workers, if someone is trying to look at something, please move, don't keep stocking -- that should be a no-brainer. Do not make the same dumb mistakes Whole Foods does. Always be polite.

From 2021 - Dean's Market is not COVID19 Conscious

It makes no sense why a grocery store would make it mandatory for customers to wear latex gloves (when some people are allergic), yet they do not have wipes to clean the carts, nor do the workers practice social distancing towards the customers. It's a scary place to shop and I don't feel comfortable shopping there. I was there today and Rachel and Heather were HORRIBLE towards me. Rachel got very close to me to scold me for not putting on the gloves yelling "THIS IS STORE POLICY" ... Well, let me ask you, what would happen if I DID put on the gloves and my hands swelled up -- who would pay for my hospital bill? DEAN? I don't think so! Rachel and Heather should both be ashamed of themselves. I will never go to this store again! I waled out without buying anything, after a 25 minute ride!”

“Had a great experience here over the summer where a young gentleman by the name of Fritz helped me with all my needs. I came in looking for vitamins and some other supplements as well as protein powder and Fritz was able to direct me to the right stuff that would be best for my dietary restrictions.

They must be training those employees very well because Fritz was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back…”
