I am writing to formally express my frustration regarding two recent negative experiences (5/25) at your ShopRite Cinnaminson location, most recent being 6/1 , both involving digital coupons and poor customer service.
Today marked the second time in less than a month that I was denied the use of a digital coupon I was clearly eligible for based on the offer’s terms and conditions. In both instances, I attempted to resolve the issue respectfully, even offering to show a photo I took of the product on the shelf, which clearly displayed the digital coupon offer attached to the item.
During today’s encounter, I spoke with the front-end manager, who personally went back to the shelf, saw the signage, and acknowledged that the offer was incorrectly marked. However, she still refused to honor the coupon, despite the misleading in-store advertising. This left me not only disappointed but confused as to why ShopRite would not take accountability for an error within the store.
To make matters worse, the associate I initially engaged with responded in an extremely unprofessional manner—huffing, puffing, and sucking her teeth as she walked off to get managerial support. Her behavior made it clear that my concern was an inconvenience, not something she felt compelled to resolve.
Unfortunately, the manager’s response reflected the same lack of concern and unwillingness to assist. There was no apology, no attempt to make it right, and no regard for the customer experience.
As a long-time ShopRite customer, I find this type of treatment unacceptable. I believe in holding companies accountable when their in-store promotions are not honored and their customer service falls short. I ask that this matter be thoroughly reviewed and addressed with the appropriate store leadership.
I would appreciate a follow-up to understand what actions will be taken to correct this and ensure future experiences align with the level of service your brand promises.

ShopRite is a very good food store with great sales every week on items that everyone would buy, rather than things that you don’t. So I definitely go here at least once a week bc they always have an item on sale that I usually buy. This ShopRite is good bc it also sells alcohol if you need for cooking or pleasure. I am not crazy about how it can be quite crowded on the weekends especially, but isn’t that normal? So you should check out ShopRite in Cinnaminson if you haven’t already and you will be happy that your saving money on food, bc I can’t stand spending my money on food anymore but you can’t live without it unfortunately…

I have returned the produce so often that I no longer buy any produce at this store. They do refund me with no issues, just has become too inconvenient to always have to go back to return produce.

Did a ShopRite order from home while I was working charged my card an extra 100 dollars for substitutions I didn’t approve called management refused to fix or even
Honor digital coupons .I could see if it was 10 20 dollars more but 100 dollars in substitutions ?Never again I spend to much money at ShopRite the quality and the management has gone way down since the early 2000’s . Guess since there losing business they have taken to stealing now I’ll be taking my money to Wegmans.

Buyer beware! If you go there to get their crispy, and delicious fried chicken, and find it has been packed in a rotisserie chicken egg style container, expect it to be a soggy mess. All the fried chicken was packed in the eggs. The rotisserie egg does not sufficiently vent like the fried chicken box does and it traps the steam in. You don't realize it though until your home. My chicken was a horrible, soggy, mess. Thanks, ShopRite!

Terrible service, terrible attitudes. They won't let you use self check out with more than 25 items, but they never have more than 2 lanes open and their checkers are incredibly slow. I'm always in line over 30 minutes. I will never go back. Prices are also so high!! Lidl and trader Joe's for me!

The staff at this location is incredibly courteous and provides excellent customer service through the curbside pickup service. The fruit selection is particularly impressive, offering a wide variety of great-tasting options. I also enjoy the fresh food options and the deli items available.
