I have to show some respect to the new management team. This is how you do business, you have to learn to adapt to your environment. When save a lot first open I was disappointed, no workers and the stuff was their own brand and was not for this diverse community. The new save a lot have brand name and definitely has more fruit and veggies. Also varieties of rice and products use by our community. Well done save a lot.The only thing you need to do now at least have 2 cashiers.

I love the nee look and the fact that there's more food to choose from. My most important issue is that it's too expensive. This use to be the store I come to after work but everything is so expensive now.

I’m really impressed with the new save a lot. The lights don’t buzz and flicker, there’s fully stocked shelves and lots of variety. I’m rethinking my trips to that other German grocery store. Good job so far with the new management.

It's not a bad place to shop and the meat and produce really look fresh.

Whew. for yrs I’ve never ever EVER seen the store look so good! I had to come leave a review. Now it looks like a real food store lol. While the old mgmt and employees were GREAT - the store was never fully stocked. Not much to choose from. When you walk in now!!! Shelves are FULL. Clean. They have more fruit to choose from. Idk why reviews are complaining about the new employees - they were very nice to me when i went lol. As far as them not speaking English i had no issues communicating with them. In addition if u kno the area- majority of the people here are from other countries. It’s just the area we are in. AND the people who live in the area in general - aren’t nice! Customers might be rude to the employees so they might not seem as friendly to some due to their guard being Up? Who knows. I’m personally blown away and impressed. & satisfied.

New owners took over this store and they barely speak English. Most of the workers have quit due to lack of organizational skills, poor pay rate and being over worked. I used to enjoy shopping at Save A lot before they became independently owned.

Employees get no benefits or health insurance. Gotta work 7 hours just for a 30 minute break. It used to be 6 hours. And a delay on the pay for their employees

I was in the store and was amazed on how cleaned the store was and the manager was very friendly. She took time to speak with my friend and I because he is from Newark and I am from Delaware. We told her our names and she said she will remember us as CC. Customer service comes in many ways. Thank you.

Looks like a store that’s about to close. Produce was old, not a lot of meat, grocery shelves were bare, dairy and frozen too. Hardly any food in the store and there’s no weekly circular. But sure, the prices are low. Just go to Extra.

It's ok and I seen and spoke with someone who works there. Stated that their old warehouse closed down and that they weren't happy of we what we were getting in the store. And I said that I agree now the store shelves are starting to look fuller, produces ,meats selections are looking fresher pleasing to the eyes and freezer, fridges have way better. Products. Where I can say that if this continues to keep getting better will shop there more

Great place to shop. A small supermarket and their prices are awesome. I love ❤️ it and I recommend it to anyone. A+

Definitely not affordable place to be, with prices that'll be at Walmart

This is a convenient location with some good deals. Most stuff are neatly organized and sorted out though some aisles are empty. Furthermore, they seem to have a shortage of staff and it has gone on for a long while now. Almost all of the times I've visited, they always had one cashier on duty. In fact, if you pay close attention, you might see that there is barely anyone here aside from one security guard, one cashier, and an occasional stocker. How come that is the case with a store as large as this one?

More options than the one on hillside and Newark . The workers seem fairly nice and the prices are pretty decent
