Horrible shopping experience. Once the owner (I assume that was actually the owner) I wasn’t going to spend $$$ because I simply came for some beer he instantly turned arrogant and unpleasant. I’m actually surprised I got something there, I shouldn’t have. I must have gotten so stunned I didn’t think. Never coming back.

Very disappointing stock on Micro brews, Seasonal beers and IPAs. The store is tiny and cluttered with over stocked hard sezlter boxes that no one buys anymore otherwise you'd be able to walk in this place. I'm not sure about the wine and spirit prices but the beer prices are extremely high! Last and final time I was in there, I asked for a price (nothing is priced btw, that's a clear indication it's going to be expensive) on a low alc by vol IPA and it was nearly $15!!! That is almost double the price of what I usually pay for that specific beer elsewhere. You can buy 9% alc by vol IPAs for less than $15, buyer beware! THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!

Only guy there keeps the JD whiskey bottles behind him- I asked for a large liter, he turned his back to cover what he grabbed then put a smaller sized 750 ml in bag instead and dishonestly charged me for a large ($38)- The bottle he actually gave me should've costed AT LEAST $10 LESS. When I arrived home and opened bag to find smaller size I called store to let him know but he TOTALLY DENIED he charged me that much $ - He DID NOT put a receipt in the bag either. This is how I could tell it was no simple mistake on his part because he was denying what he charged me and didn't include receipt - Buyer beware - Doesn't even deserve one star here.

Majindra (Mike) is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and he'll be the guy who greets you and remember you for future visits to this small liquor store in Cliffside Park, NJ. This Store is full of product and Mike can steer you in the right direction when it comes to what wine to get. Local small business who needs the community's support. Thanks Mike!

I've been coming to this store for the past few years with my girlfriend and it's the best in the neighborhood. There's a good selection of wines and Mike has been a great resource for recommendations.

I LOVE THIS PLACE (& HERE'S WHY): The owner (dude usually at the counter) is just about one of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with here when I'm out getting groceries or stocking up on wine for movie night, etc. He's just the sweetest person, and intelligent as hell too. We talk about politics, current events, spirituality, etc. If you live around here, get to know him. I'm a polisci/public policy student and I rarely ever meet people who I can have a substantive, non-hostile, non-partisan, mindful, and engaging back/forth with regarding just about anything going on in the world. Aside from just wanting to share how much I love coming here to get what I need, I guess it's also worth mentioning that the prices are 100% reasonable, and if you're not sure what to go for, ask him for a recommendation! Usually when I ask for recommendations at places I really get the sense that they're not sure what they're talking about. He is on the other hand very enthusiastic about sharing his opinions on various brands and types on the shelves, and he doesn't try to sell you the most expensive thing either. He really is honest about it and if you ask him for something more expensive he has good options too but he is obviously more concerned with making sure you're happy with his pick for you than he is about pushing you towards a pricier product. The selection overall is great too by the way! I don't like generic grocery store beers like Heineken and this is the only place that stocks good stuff you don't normally find unless you go out of your way, like Red Stripe and Flying Dog. I've gone into other places on Anderson ave and the local selections are pretty disappointing. Very mainstream basics. So yeah, that's why this place is my go-to :)
