Very disappointed in new stuff and management. Went there for uv gel removal, wasted 40 mins to hear from them that they can’t fully remove it and that every nail salon is same. Simply ridiculous…. I had this service at this same place many times before with previous staff.
Recommendations to the place: learn basic stuff, otherwise will be out of business very quickly. The process of uv gel removal is very simple when done properly. First, use the nail machine to make it very thin and then apply acetone, not the other way around.

I have been there for a long time. over the time , ownership has changed past one year 3 times. then the strive is getting worst than ever. They rose all the prices and then still use old manicure to put even if the color faded right after I got services. I never seen nail shop in NJ to charge taxes ..they said they updated new colors. it seemed to me ...it is all same ( when the first owner Jane kept colors ...then other two owners never updated their colors) they are too greedy for money and service is not poor. Ladies....Try to find other place other than this place. I am done with Pia nail ( they changed perfect nail salon ) I don't think the place is not perfect. to pay for new and nice color but the color fade.....this is not acceptable !!!!!!

Very clean place, welcoming and professional. I can't say I go often but, never disappointed when I leave. The nail techs do a beautiful job.

Pia Nails is very good, very clean with attention to hygienic practices. I have been going there for 7 years & have recommended this nail salon to several people who have all been pleased, and these are picky people who would have told me if they weren't. They all were happy with the recommendation and continue to patronize Pia Nails . Not sure about the couple of bad reviews, but this salon is in Cliffside Park, NJ so bad reviews from the Bronx, NY, San Francisco, CA or Hauppague ,Long Island, NY have to be suspect. Reviews from locals seem universally good. My experience has always been good.

RUDE AND RACIST. Do not go here. Was told VERY RUDELY that they don't take appts. Instead of kindly offering to make me an appt, she shooed me off. Extremely rude!!!!!horrible way to treat a potential new customer.Response to owner comment below: so NOW you want to be nice and act like you were respectful??? You know darn well that was not the case. The only reason you are attempting to be kind now is for me to take down my review which I am NOT doing. Treat new customers better!!!!!!!!

I’ve recently moved to Cliffside Park a couple months ago and was very excited to try a new nail place out here , I called Pia nails to figure out an estimate on a full gel set and was told minimum would be 100 bucks .. just for nails ? That’s insane and then the lady hung up on me when I tried to confirm if it was only for nails .. haven’t never walked into the place. I’ve always seen it driving past and thought it was cute but 100 dollars on nails is just absurd

I have been going to Pia Nails for many, many years. The salon is very clean. Their precautions during Covid protecting their staff & their customers was great. As a senior this was particularly important to me, & I was very impressed. It shows how much they care. I am always pleased with my mani/pedi. Everyone I have recommended Pia Nails to, & there have been several over the years, have all been satisfied and become regular customers, I suppose everyone can have an off day, but usually when most people are giving good reviews & a few a really bad, I presume it to be the customer rather than the service.

The worst nail experience EVER…. The first time being here because of the rating seemed quite good. BUT This place make you want to leave at the first 5 minutes. I am not a mean person at all still couldn’t bear it. The staff treat you like you owe their money, LOL really rude and not professional. When they do my nail they make me feel really pain several times because of the lack of technique skills without apologies. The overall experience was extremely uncomfortable. But I didn’t choose to leave and pay them in full due to the respect.. the funniest happened that the stuff was chasing me out to the car after I left because I didn’t pay her tips.. and also texted me and harassing me called me “bad person”, said “never take me”.. I don’t know what to say… wordless. It’s not ethical to do so. I feel offended, totally.

Great Place with very lovely staff! My nails were a MESS when I came in .. and I walked out with my nails like a work of art!! Super cute gem, the shop looks small but feels spacious & cozy. I can’t stop looking at my nails!!! Highly recommend ❤️Services: Manicure
