Was there 2 days ago. Customer service was excellent. All of my questions were answered and the staff was friendly. The line moved at a good pace so I wasn’t there too long. I was able to find everything I needed without confusion. The staff even asked if I needed help with anything else. 10/10 for me!!!

I have noticed a significant improvement in operations, performance and customer service at this location over the past two months. The young lady who took over for the previous worker has been a refreshing addition. She is friendly, courteous and helpful. She always greets the customers with a smile and takes time to learn the frequent customers name. The office opens on time and there are clear signs informing customers about when the office will close and reopen for lunch. It is nice to see the willingness to provide customer assistance.

firstly i think these workers don’t even know how to do their jobs other than scan and physically give you your packages. the lady with short white hair was super rude when i had intercepted a package to go pick it up at that USPS because there was an issue with my change of address, when i told her i had a pick up she lied to me saying she didn’t have it then started saying im not allowed to do that blah blah there’s people who pay for their P.o. boxes i can’t just send my packages anywhere. I paid $10 for my package to be intercepted thru the USPS website so how am i not allowed to do that? I showed her my receipt of my package and how it was in the location and she gave me my package after trying to lecture me on what i can and can’t do at USPS. Why lie to me about where my package is? She even said she was gonna send it back to the sender. I ended up calling customer service as well to figure out how am i not allowed to do that in case i had to do a hold pick up again but they ended up saying i was NOT in the wrong. If these older people can’t keep updated with the new advances with technology have them just sort the packages because why am i get yelled at for something i’m allowed to do according to USPS itself? 😂 This USPS is just very outdated and ran down in general so save yourself the headache from that barn animal of a lady and go to a different location

I hate to say this but the location is huge for me. All of these comments of she takes lunch or is not happy then go elsewhere. That place has been there forever. I stopped even trying because I thought they were permanently closed. NO one is considerate anymore and to be honest I can understand why. If you’re looking for a happy post office good luck. I am happy to have the location open even if it’s an hour a day!! I ALWAYS EXPECT THE WORST OUTCOME. Although it may seem like I am negative i really am not.
It’s a great surprise when something actually works out. Keep expectations of others very very very low.

Absolutely TRASH customer service from Helga, thr Federal USPS employee. I came into this location at 10:50am and saw that it closes at 11am-11:45am. I had time to have my son's birthday gift packaged and mailed for his MILITARY BASE before his deployment. Helga took only 1 look at me and my packages, said she was closed (even though I was standing in the tiny lobby, feet away from the counter), and said to come back AFTER 12pm. I said "Okay, but your notice says that you close at 11am." Time is clearly being wasted at this point. She stated that "it would take too long to process" my shipment. What the h3ll?!?! Maybe, Helga is too slow and needs to retire. Just a STRONG suggestion. I asked if thst location AT LEAST had XL pre-taped boxes. She stated that what was in the lobby was all they had. I had to tell her I was trying to mail my son's gift who's in thr military and I wasn't from aournd these parts. I was just at a doctor's office...so where was another location. She pointed to the counter and said on Gorge Ave. "It's right there." Like where is "right there" if I already stated that I'm not from this area. I asked if it was in walkinh distance. She's BEET RED at this point and was like yeah. It's hotter habanero sauce outside. I look to fine to be walking around, sweating like I'm in menopause and mailing my son's gift. I ultimately went to the Gorge Avenue location. She SUCKS!

First of all,I’m shocked that there is a handwritten sign that says closed for lunch at a USPS location.Secondly,I, along with an old lady and a bunch of other customers that couldn’t wait and left, waited more than half hour after the posted opening time.There has to be a consequence to how this place is being operated. You can hear the lady behind the metal curtain playing around while everyone is waiting past the posted opening time of 11:45.I’m extremely dissatisfied. I called customer service but there was no option to complain. Please give a phone number where I can complain about this place and the employee running it like its her house bathroom.

If I can give this location a 0 ⭐, I would off!Place was completely empty, the older lady on the front, scrolling on her phone, while I'm saying: Hi good afternoon, she totally ignored till my voice got a little deeper. She was super useless, she pointed at paper with another Cliffside Park post office location. Now a days , seems like no one wants to do their job with at least okay attitude ??

I answered this establishment as the door was open for service yet the steel gate in the customer service Booth was closed and locked but I could hear a woman back there moving around refusing to answer my questions of hello is anyone here are you open no response I've also read multiple reviews regarding this location I've been there before when there's signs handwritten on the door will return in 1 hour and 45 minutes then a blonde haired woman pulls up clearly intoxicated opens the door and comes outside 10 minutes later to close the establishment 1 hour early ridiculous how does she get paid to do this sad sad situation she needs to be investigated by the postal Authority she should have no job or receive any money because she clearly does nothing but use drugs and alcohol on the job and operate on her own time

I would put a 0 stars if I had that option, the lady at the counter told me that she was out of stamps and she could not help me, what post office is out of stamps?? I walked 30 min in the rain for her to tell me that, then I asked where was the nearest post office where I could find stamps, she said up on Anderson ave, I asked if was a walkable distance, she said yes, I walk there all the time, then I asked her how long to walk there and she said that she did not know… what is wrong with this lady? Is she crazy ?Why the postal service have this person getting paid on tax payers and she offers no service? What is she doing there? Collecting a pay check? This is so outrageous.

The reviews are correct. I would recommend going to the other one around the corner. Immediately upon entering this establishment, the patron is made to feel nervous and uncomfortable. The establishment also sets up their own rules and decides who they choose they want to do with business with at the time they want to do it. I am not sure if this is an actual PO or not, but I definitely canceled my business with the postal service and will continue to go to my normal location which is not this one.
