Sure you can easily find a storage unit just by simply googling something in the area but you will not find the level of courtesy or professionalism that I found in Matthew and Eleanor at American self storage. I’ve looked at other storage facilities within a 5 mile radius and this was my last stop from the first conversation that I had with Matt over the phone. I was also very impressed by how clean and easily accessible everything was from within the facility. There are several entrances and exits and you receive a customized pin code for access in and out. Highly recommended if customer service is important to you.

By far, thee best storage facility & I've had 4!!! Always clean, even the elevator, always cool (unlike the awful Public Storage on 34 that is like an oven EVERY time I'm there & is absolutely filthy, still has the same leaves everywhere from Nov! Garbage everywhere, broken glass, now lollipop sticks, so gross!) American always has both the wood wheelies for boxes super sturdy w wheels that actually work! (Trust me, this is a rarity) Always has the big blue laundry bins for bags of clothes. The ramp isn't too steep, is just wide enough plus has bars on both sides so if a bag falls no biggie. Well lit which is great for me since I've often been there late, they just come on automatically & w the top being open man you really can see everything!!! As long as u do your keypad by 11pm ur good, unlike Public Storage that has an annoying exit gate that u have to be out by 8pm or I guess you spend the night? Lmao The staff here is so sooo nice especially the Manager Matt who has been super understanding w my struggle to clear out my unit solo...he even let me have an extra wk & has on more than 1 occassion waived the late fee since I was on unemployment. I so wish they had a bigger unit available cuz I woulda stayed w them another 4+ yrs!!! This is literally my 1st review I've ever written in my life, don't go anywhere else for storage but hereðŸ‘
