The new management team staff are very pleasant to work with , great customer service and professional team .
The place is great and always maintained well .
Maintenance team are in top of their game all the time . The place is maintained very well in a professional environment.
Great place to live at due to location near Garden State Parkway and Route 35 . Few minutes from the NJ Transit train station.

My experience was great especially with the tour of the property.

I was interested in taking a tour of an apartment and also applying but they're not good at responding to emails and phone calls. I've left 3+ messages and they haven't been returned, so I don't think it's worth it.

Gave 5 stars 4 years ago, but unfortunately, this place is no longer half as good as it was years ago.

Management and maintenance are severely understaffed. Nothing ever gets fixed, and they sometimes even try to lie about completing work orders.Emails/calls/maintenance requests go unanswered for days or weeks at a time. You have to constantly check the status of every work order to get any movement, and even then they find ways to ignore you.Unless you NEED to live in this area, I’d steer clear. Ingerman doesn’t maintain this property and they don’t care about their tenants. Also worth mentioning: if you’re a light sleeper, this entire complex is built beside train tracks that run at all hours. Unsurprisingly no one brought this up prior to moving in.May the odds be in your favor

We lived in The forge at Glasswork for 18 months.YES! The forge at glasswork and The Willows at Glasswork (affordable housing) are in the same community. We had never experienced any issues with our neighbors. The maintenance staff were always there when we needed them. The office staff was always helpful with answer all of our questions and concerns via email. Before returning the apartment my husband and I did a deep cleaning to the apartment so we can have our security deposit returned in full.Overall I enjoyed living in Cliffwood. It’s a beautiful area. I also enjoyed Aberdeen and Matawan.I highly recommend living at the Forge as your start home.

I have rented most of my adult life, and have moved a LOT, so I have a lot of experience with these communities. So far, the Forgestaff been among the most friendly and helpful of any I have ever worked with. The leasing office is always willing to help, maintenance is responsive and friendly. There were no games or surprise charges when I moved out. Everything felt very fair. That being said, there are 2 huge reasons why I am giving this only 2 stars:-The primary reason is that our apartment was literally a stones throw away from train tracks, with a bedroom window pointing towards the tracks. Because there is an intersection right outside of the community, the trains blast their horns every time they pass, and they pass VERY often. There have been so many nights and early mornings laying in bed, being woken up by this train. It's awful and there isnt really anything to be done about it. For this reason alone I wouldn't recommend anyone live here, especially if you have a unit near the tracks.-There are ALWAYS cops or fire trucks coming through the neighborhood. As I understand it, there is a neighboring community that kind of shares this area with the Forge. I'm not sure how they are related but I do know that there are always police flying through here. A few weeks before moving out someone lit the recycling dumpster on fire. I just generally don't get a good feeling about what's going on in this neighborhood. Its a shame, these apartments are decent, the staff are all great, but with the train and apparent crime, I really can't suggest anyone live here, especially at the current rent they are charging.

I honestly now understand exactly why this complex has such a low rating. I believe they are taking advantage of Covid completely. They are so money hungry that they lost apartments months before they are vacant, but want you to pay and apply sight unseen within 3 days of your approval. I have never ever rented and apartment and had to pay the entire first months rent before I received the keys. I was approved and 4 days later they cancelled my application stating they had a 3 day pay policy. Mind you my move in date was not until the middle of December. When I went to the complex to ask if I could at least see the clubhouse, they stated because I'm not a resident I can not tour. So I have a higher probability of having Covid than a resident? But you want my money though? Very money hungry and they know that apartments are scarce because of Covid. Don't do it! I dodged a bullet

I moved in a month ago and have had NO problems whatsoever. The apartments ARE very soundproof. I rarely hear anyone. As far as maintenance is concerned there is someone mopping and sweeping the common areas daily. Whenever I call the leasing office they are happy to help. The only feedback I have is they need a better access control system. Currently, when a visitor or delivery arrives they must call you and they cannot be buzzed in. I think most of the complaints in these reviews are from people who just unsatisfied with life and are unwilling to accept that things aren't always going to go their way.

I love it here! The staff in the office is amazing. Erin is so helpful and goes above and beyond for the residents. 10/10 recommend!

The apartments look great inside, but the buildings were poorly constructed. There is barely any sound insulation, so if you enjoy hearing your upstairs neighbors opening/closing their dresser drawers, hear moaning through your wall when people are...you know, and don't mind having your ceiling vibrate when there's a party going on, then this is the place for you! The price of the rent went up about $110/month in the 2 years I lived here. The base rent online does not include the mandatory $107/month water & sewer fee (charged regardless of occupancy) which means you'll be paying closer to $1,850/month ($1,900 if you have a pet). Ridiculous price for a 1 bedroom, especially when you have section 8 living in the same "luxury" community. If you do decide to move here, avoid the 1st floor unless you enjoy noise.

They just think about money... first we were thinking to buy a house but for the pandemic nobody were showing and we email to them if we can stay for a few months and they said that we can pay monthly but its gonna be $500 more. Second I lost my job and my husband is doing everything to pay the rent and because we didn't pay the amenity fee $399 the property manager send a email saying if we don't do it until Friday she is gonna file a complain and our account and it will be charge with court and lawyer fee. How can that be possible if there is a pandemic!!!
