I am in the process of submitting a complaint regarding a HIPAA violation to the Attorney General's office concerning CureMed Pharmacy and their lead pharmacist, Ghada. During a recorded call, she violated my HIPAA rights with my insurance company and even suggested that my prescription was fraudulent, implying that I abuse drugs. According to the representative I spoke with, Ghada divulged my private information without once confirming if this was in fact my insurance company calling. When the representative pointed out the fact that she violated my HIPAA rights, she (Ghada) disconnected the call. Honestly, I am distraught after hearing that, as I have never been accused of anything like that in my life. They accepted my payment of $120 without hesitation on 12/07, despite submitting a claim to my insurance company on 12/06. Now that I have questioned their business practices, they suddenly have concerns about the legitimacy of my prescription and even threatened to call my doctor.
The situation was escalated by Ghada, the pharmacist, and her unprofessional behavior. All I wanted to know was why there was a discrepancy between the amount submitted to my insurance company and the amount I was charged. As a result, I now have a HIPAA violation and retaliation claim against their business. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior from a pharmacist, and I truly regret choosing CureMed for my prescription.
I genuinely wanted to support small minority-owned businesses, especially those in my own community. Experiencing this situation is unbelievable, and the lies that were told on a recorded line will have consequences. I am more than happy to back everything written in this review with concrete evidence as both calls that took place were recorded.

Very greedy owners. During the pandemic they were charging people $85 for COVID tests without telling patients the cost prior to swabbing. The owners make their friends, family, and employees leave 5 star reviews on here so insurance companies rule things in their favor ($).

Don't go here! I went here for a covid test. The girl who administered the test wasn't wearing gloves and had no idea what she was doing. I never received my results so I contacted the lab and when they received my sample it wasn't marked properly so they weren't able to test it!!

Guys dont waste your time with Walgreens and CVS for Covid tests. You can get it done in minutes for $150 and have your results in an email in an hour's or two. The staff is professional and pleasant. Nothing but good things to say ..

I got here at 6:55, they close at 7 and was able to get my rapid test thanks to Omar. He was nice enough to allow me to stay and get my test and results. Thanks so much for going above and beyond. The front desk Peruvian/Colombian guy (didn't ask his name) does the up the nose test very smoothly,no pain or discomfort which I was relieved about.
