Hate to leave such a poor review because I was really beyond excited to become a regular here. I asked the lady who serviced me for wax because personally thread is just too painful, she proceeded. Idk what she did wrong. I’ve never had this happen to me like this. I’m so disappointed but more than anything this is so painful. I have exfolia or exposed myself to make up, sun, or any other harmful products. Just my lotion which is very sensitive and some healing balm. It’s been 3 days now and it just hurts more and more everyday!
I don’t know what happened here? The wax didn’t feel too hot when she waxed me but when she removed the strip I felt burning right away and what ever she used to clean my skin after was definitely too harsh for waxed skin. I just wish she had told me she’d rather use thread instead of waxing my eyebrows if she isn’t so skilled at it ???

I discovered this establishment located next to a doctor's office I frequently visit, and it appeared to be a reputable place. Intrigued, I decided to try their eyebrow services. I was impressed by the skill of one particular lady who excelled in her craft, and found the professionalism of the other staff members commendable.
Additionally, I also came across a talented Dominican hairdresser named Albina at the establishment. I highly recommend her services, as she has proven to be excellent at what she does. However, it is important to note that Albina is not always present at the salon, so it is necessary to schedule an appointment with her over the phone.
Hair type: The Dominican hair dresser is really great for any type of hair , we tried her couple of times, so I know from experience

The old brow bar I used to go to up in Teaneck hasn't been able to keep a brow artist and I tried a few other brow threading beauty bars and studios in the Clifton area before I found H Brow and Beauty Bar on the other side of Clifton from where I live. I went during a week day but had a great experience. They sit in a little plaza so there is off-street parking and it was really easy to find. I walked in with and didn't have to wait long before I was seen. The brow artist did a great job and was very thorough in cleaning up my brows and I appreciate how even, thick, and natural yet shaped my brows looked afterwards. As a heads up, on their website, brow threading is listed as $8 but I was charged $10, and they said because I paid with card and it because it was my first time visiting that they charged me $10 as a "courtesy" but not sure what the actual cost would be given all the pricing discrepancies between online and in-store and between cash and card. It wasn't clear to me then and still isn't clear to me now after trying to look into more. Oh well. Either way, it's clean, easy to find, has off-street parking, takes walk-ins and is a beautiful and brightly lit spot. The only curious point is the one around the cost of service. I'm still going to go back because I had a great experience, it's closeby and the wait wasn't too long.

I was recommended by a co-worker to come here for eye-brow threading/tinting. As you can see the lady did a GREAT job. I will definitely come back, I went to the lady in the 3rd chair soon as you walk in.
