I have been to this book store before and enjoyed it. The items they sell are very nice… but today I went in and was very upset. The person who works there, idk if it was the owner or not was in conversation with a customer. The conversation went something like “ I believe those who suffer from mental health issues have demons inside of them” further more the customer thanked the worker for being so relatable & thinking the way she did… she then said she had a book for her to read. The customer said she can’t even go to church any more that Christian’s don’t relate that they weren’t real Christians and the “real Christians” needed to push on.Now I know every business has to keep customers happy. But at no point in time did the worker end the conversation, discourage that type of talk, quiet her down… NOTHING she was agreeable.It’s sad because as somebody who suffers with anxiety I am not demonic, I have faith, I am loved worthy and all the good things.We can all radicalize our beliefs it doesn’t make it true, all it does is alienate people and likely lose you business for the sheer ignorance.

Have passed this store more than once, finally had time to stop in. My 2hr parking time limit almost expired. As you start through the wall art and make your way through the store, channel Isaiah 26:3 and listen as the Spirit directs you (for He knows what you need before you seek). In a review of my purchases, I find exactly what I need in this season of my life. Actually in my commitment to listen to the Spirit's direction more often, I couldnt drive away without going back to grab two CS Lewis books that gave me a chill when I first picked them up. After reading a few more pages, now I see why. And the Hunterdon Christian Book store has just became part of my testimony. I pray you will have the same experience.

Was totally surprised at the variety and selection of products they had. We were going to see about stuff for Mt granddaughters 1st Communion and were blown away! Git that stuff AND MUCH MORE!! I HIGHLY recommend this business!! What a gem right here in Clinton!!

We love going to this bookstore for cards, journals, books and gifts! It’s also convenient that they have a little lego area for kids to play with while you shop.

Great store with a lovely owner. The only one on main Street that gives refunds instead of credit. Their selection is vast and has so many choices. They're greeting cards are wonderful there's nothing I can say bad about this place it just meets all my needs. Perfect place for last minute shopping always something to buy.

I frequent this shop often and the owner is always very helpful. I am so thankful to have a Christian Book Shop so close to where I live. I would highly recommend making a visit to this shop for all of your Christian needs.
