I think it’s a good idea to reach out and review your personal financial and retirement planning situation with a professional since we can’t all be experts in this arena. And doing nothing doesn’t solve anything. PFG is a boutique financial planning firm with whom we met several times to get a comfort level with their expertise and have a number of our questions answered. Of course, personal chemistry needs to be considered, but we found Chris and his team to be knowledgeable about the current financial landscape and not pushy with a hard cell approach. They provided solid investment, guidance using their resources, but they are open to alternatives of your choosing as well. We have also met with, and considered other financial planning firms, but are quite happy with the guidance and advice they have provided and are glad with the decision to invest with PFG.

Was a client for a few years, then was dissatisfied with lack of response to simple email inquiries. Had well into 7 figures invested with them, took away almost 7 figures in 2019 and took it elsewhere, still have over 7 figures left with them and no calls or anything. (after being upset with me taking away the "liquid" business, telling me I'll regret it, etc). NO REGRETS. Granted, what I have with them are in annuities (they love to sell you these and high commission universal life policies), so I will just ride it out until my contracts are over. They are interested in selling Sammons Financial group products and not interested in what's best for the client. BEWARE!
