“I love this post office! Everyone there is always so helpful and friendly.
Last week, I was dropping off a package,
and I met Suzanne, a very engaging employee. I do hope that I’m spelling her name correctly because I accidentally
threw away the receipt.
Thank you for finding my favorite Tiger
endangered species stamps.
See you soon!?”

“Made a mistake and put the wrong zip code on the package, but didn’t realize it until I got home. Went back and they were friendly and found the package and changed the zip right before closing. Saved the day!”

“This is the best post office I have ever used. The staff are friendly and helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. My wife and I use the post office very frequently to send out packages for our side business. Whereas other post offices have treated us as a nuisance, the Three Bridges Post Office always welcomes us and we have never lost a package. We mostly deal with Paul, who is absolutely amazing. He is so great, in fact, that he should be made Postmaster General! But in all seriousness, if every post office was like Three Bridges, no one would ever complain about the postal service again.”

“Very small, but very good Postal Office. A regular looking building.A lady who helped me today was extremely nice (I forgot to ask her name). Thank you! When I entered there was no one (meaning customers), but 5 people walked in few minutes later. They do accept passport applications and take passport photos. There is a small parking lot in the front of the building. Location (surrounding) of the Post office is very nice and cozy.I absolutely don't regret choosing this place.Recommended!”

“Without a doubt the best post office I have ever visited. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. Never have any issues with package delivery. The USPS should use the Glen Gardner NJ Post Office as a shinning example of how to do things right!”

“They're all really sweet people there but there's this one woman she's Asian she has an attitude that you would not believe she never smiles and seems like she's mad all the time and there's a lot of people that feel that way”

“Certified mail was sent to me at an address where I wasn't living anymore. Didn't have access to retrieve the pink slip to claim the mail. I contacted the post office troght their website. The postmaster Crystal contacted me, telling me to stop by with my ID and that the mail will be given to me. She was great and prompted my request, and I was able to get my mail without issues.”

“Several reasons why I switch from Glen Gardner.1. Parking2. Friendly people vs angry, unhelpful staff3. Waiting room accommodates more than 2 people4. They are aware when you walk in the door and don't pretend you aren't there”

“I see that the Whitehouse Station Post Office is currently rocking a confident 2.4 stars on Google. Does it deserve 2.4 stars. Maybe. Maybe not. Hard to say.

First, there are only 23 reviews. And honestly, who is writing a review of the post office when things go well, besides me?

“Hi, I’d like stamps.”
“Sure, how many.”

End scene.

That is not exactly a moment that inspires reflection.

Most of the existing reviews focus on rude staff or general postal despair, so I figured I would offer a counterpoint. We already pay too much for greeting cards, and then we pay too much to mail those greeting cards. All I needed were stamps. I did not want the Costco stamps this year. That felt like a choice that would haunt me later. So I made the trek to the only post office in the area that was open.

I walked in and was greeted. Was it warm. No. Was it hostile. Also no. It was appropriately gruff. It was late on a Saturday, right before Christmas, and frankly I would have wanted to be home too. I asked for stamps. He showed me what was left. I chose. He informed me that I had just purchased the last of the Christmas themed stamps. A small win, but still a win. Go me.

I paid. We exchanged the standard thank yous. I left with stamps. He went back to doing whatever important postal things he was doing. No confusion. No mistakes. Just the correct amount of New Jersey energy.

Will they lose your mail someday. Almost certainly.
Will they lose your mail every time. Probably not.
Will they successfully sell you stamps without incident. Based on this visit, yes.

And honestly, that feels like meeting expectations. Which, at the post office, is kind of the whole point.”
