Red Mill Museum Village is a charming historical site that offers a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits and community events throughout the year. Located in a picturesque setting, it serves as a venue for weddings, corporate events, and concerts. The museum features lovely grounds, an old schoolhouse, and a cozy village atmosphere that visitors enjoy exploring. However, it is not accessible for those with mobility issues due to stairs and gravel pathways. The museum's staff is friendly and informative, enhancing the visitor experience. While it lacks air conditioning due to its age, guests find it inviting, especially during events like wine festivals. The museum will be closed for regular visitors on March 15 and 16 for the Irish Weekend, but will resume regular winter hours the following weekend. Spring hours will begin on April 12. Visitors appreciate the opportunity to spend a few hours enjoying the exhibits and the beautiful surroundings.
Nice little museum, half indoors and half outdoors. Not for disabled with mobility issues as there is 3 flights of stairs and the outside is all gravel. Also no AC as it’s a 150 year old building so keep that in mind
