My biggest gripe with this location (and their other nearby locations) is that the attendants who put the plastic cover over your rear windshield wiper should also take a brush and bucket filled with soapy water and quickly scrub around the rear license plate and hatch, but they don't. Some other car washes in the area do this so, I know it's possible. It's important for me because, the way my car is designed, the rear portion of the hatch around the license plate never gets clean. I was told by an attendant that this is a common complaint and the only solution is to just go through the wash again or do it yourself. A simple 15 second swish and swipe with a long brush and soapy water would solve that though. I've also noticed recently that the soapy water never gets fully rinsed from the vehicle so when it dries, very noticeable water spots are left behind.

I use the automated wash from time to time when I don't have time to wash my car. After I pull out of the wash, I dry it with a microfiber cloth. Comes out nice. Of course any $15 carwash will leave dirt and water spots all over if you don't dry it right away. These people that complain about some dirt left over are nuts! It's a $15 run through in a pinch. Takes most off but not all. You don't even need to dry it if you don't have 5 extra minutes. Any automated wash has minor scratch risks. Want it perfect, then go pay $99 for a real wash and exterior detail....

Not related to the car wash facility itself (which is great by the way) but a family member had an issue with a dead battery while on site. We eventually got it taken care of but the night time employee Adam went ABOVE \u0026 BEYOND helping out any way possible. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Keep up the good work!!!

Don't bother paying the nearly $20 for the premium wash you will probably end up with the basic wash anyway

If you care about your car DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Second rate equipment that will scratch up your car and Rims. They opened late and we’re hanging out in the parking lot 45 minutes after they opened. I went through the car wash and it scratched up my rims that were refinished one week earlier.

I went to wash my own car, pulled in the first spot, paid, all for the hose to have a hole in it and no water pressure. The second spot I pulled into was okay up until the end when I’m rinsing the soap off my car and the right we’re the hose is connected to the nozzle popped and got me all wet. Will definitely take my business elsewhere.

Says they open at 7am but nobodies ever there by 7. I drive by a few times a week around 7 to get a wash before work and it’s always closed.

The vacuums are actually very power in terms of suction for the turbo setting. I am impressed. Other car wash vacuums have little to no suction power.

Went through the automated wash and there was still dirt on the front (that I could wipe off with my finger). This happened one other time and the attendant allowed me to use the self-service wash to remove the additional dirt for no additional cost.Today, I approached the attendant and let him know that there was still dirt on the front of my car and he said, “Do you want your car clean? Then you’ll have to pay for it yourself and go through again.”It seems like, at least at the Clinton location, that’s Shammy Shine’s customer service has declined considerably over the years

I have a monthly membership. It is so useful during this time of year with so much salt on the roads. My car comes out spotless every time.

Guys that work here are VERY nice but I really wish they would fix the soap issue. **** Editing post, they have in fact fixed the soap issue I was having. Not sure if it was the body style of my vehicle or what, but since I left my previous review as a final attempt - the issue has in fact been resolved! Very happy with this wash, and the guys that work it. I visit this wash almost every day on my commute. They are even open on the days I want a wash but doubt it is open because of poor weather.

Reasonable club pricing. Free vacuum use is key and what keeps me coming back. Also does a decent job of cleaning your car. The wheels actually get cleaned with the $30 something package. Money doesn't go as far anymore, this place is worth it.

I highly recommend Shammy. They service is spectacular. The staff and very friendly and respectful. Very cool dudes. The package fees are decent. Now, you can join the club and pick the services you want. I was paying $22.00 a month during winter months. Could you imagine. I was there 2-3 times a week, especially to wash off the salt snd debris from the road.
