I was discouraged by the attitude and approaches of sales persons in some stores including yours and/or the limited sales options of some. I last visited your co-op city store and was welcomed by Mr. Roberto Binas whose professional courteous approach encouraged me to ask questions and tried out mattresses. His knowledge and expertise was evident in the manner in which he answered all my questions without insulting my intelligence as others in other stores had. He was also not pushy and proposed options in my decision making process . His patience allowed me to make a final decision and I was particularly very pleased to communicate with a Latine person and switch back and forth between Eng/Span/ Spanglish, which demonstrated his cultural competence/ sensitivity. “I found Palisade Furniture 27 years ago. The sales people were very accommodating. Although the fabric we adored was not one that came with the dining room chairs that we chose, they found a way to make it happen. When a knob fell off a piece of furniture 20 years later, they came & fixed it no charge. I had decided that I wouldn't buy furniture elsewhere, but I have had no need to - the furniture has endured. And the prices were competitive with the chain stores. I can't recommend them highly enough!”
