So, after contacting me, the manager/owner of this particlar location explained what had happened to my 'non- existent ' tires. Due to a miscommunication between their online ordering/ads & local franchises the tires were never available & b/c it was a Holiday weekend, the online order was never processed & I was never informed that the tire order could not be fulfilled. I was offered a free oil change or front end alignment which I think is pretty nice & considerate of them since it wasn't the Mavis in Closter's fault that they couldn't procure the tires from their supplier. I was very pleased that they reached out to me personally to resolve my issues. I will go back to them in the near future for my automotive needs since they made a strong effort to do the right thing by their customers.
I ordered tires for my truck thru Mavis.com online b/c they were not in stock at the Closter location. Got an email confirming my size tires would be shipped to the Closter store in 3 days, so I made an appt. to have tires installed. Much to my surprise & disappointment, not only did they not have the tires but I was told they could not get the tires(they were nowhere in the system & could no longer get them from the vendor). SO, I wasted a half day of my time for absolutely nothing whereas a simple text/email or call would have sufficed. I am now going to PEP Boys who have everything I need. Thanks for nothing Mavis of Closter.......

I stopped by Mavis after waking up to a tire that had dropped to 15 PSI, and the team was extremely helpful. The manager, Arnold, was very friendly, and the service tech who checked my car did a thorough inspection but found no leaks or punctures. Even with a bit of a wait, they gave me confidence that the tire was safe to drive on, and they didn’t even charge me for the check. Everyone was honest, polite, and easy to deal with. I’ll definitely return if any issues come up—excellent service all around.

Visited Mavis near the end of the day & with no appointment. The front desk checked my car in right away & the tech patched my tire gratis! Will come back for any tire issues as the Closter Mavis staff is amazing!!

I went in for an oil change and brake pad replacement, and Arnold and the staff was great from start to finish. They kept me updated, explained everything clearly, and didn’t push any unnecessary services. The process was straightforward and the pricing was fair. Overall, a smooth and professional experience.
