Would be helpful if store employees would open the registers to check out customers instead of standing and watching customers wait in line for self checkout.

Extremely disappointed with customer service and attitude of employees in the Closter store. Had completed my weekly shopping and went to check and was told that no cashiers were working. This was at 6pm on a Monday? Went to the customer service center and was told by the manager that two cashiers were coming in at 6, yet no one was there, no offer to assist me
Guess they wanted me to use the self checkout? I typically spend $300-$400 weekly and I will never come back to this store again.

I’ve been coming to this store for many years, and it is getting worse and worse in regards of their cashiers. Today as I was paying for groceries Joe, the cashier, was more preoccupied about his phone and texting while he was scanning my items.
I’m not saying that he needs to engage in a conversation, but as a Customer Service representative myself, I know for sure that the use of a personal cell phone while at work it is not permitted.
Management needs to be more alert when it comes to their employees and their behaviors

Don't know what the heck happened to this place. Produce is almost always stale, many many shelves always empty, and they have stopped selling rotisserie chickens. They still sell "cooked" chickens, but they are completely inedible, idk why they even bother, such a waste.
