The employees at Trek went above and beyond! I went with two bikes to get air in the tires, and they took the time to help raise one of the seats and adjust a part of the other bike for free! Super kind and generous. Will definitely be back to get my son’s next bike as he grows.

I dropped my bike off for regular maintenance. They turned it around in a day. They also replaced my seat and told me it was under warranty. I’ve been going there a while, always friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Closter NJ Trek bike shop, and I’m genuinely blown away by the outstanding service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff made it clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority.
I came in with a brake issue on my bike that I couldn’t quite diagnose myself. Not only did the team take the time to carefully inspect everything, but they also explained each step of the process in a clear, friendly way.
The quality of the repair work was exceptional. My bike rides / stops like new!
It’s rare these days to find a shop where you feel so well taken care of, where the service goes beyond the transaction. Whether you're a new rider or a seasoned cyclist, this shop is a gem. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know.

Today at 12 PM, I visited the Trek Bike Shop in Closter, New Jersey to get the rear derailleur cable on my 2016 Specialized S-Works SL6 replaced. It had suddenly stopped working. Since this shop is right in the neighborhood, it’s a place I usually enter with a smile, feeling welcomed—especially because of one staff member I really liked for their friendly attitude.
But today, that familiar face was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a new employee gave me an estimate. Under the label of a “Level 2 Tune-Up,” they quoted me $480, which included replacing the derailleur cable, brake cable, handlebar tape, chain, spoke wheel adjustments, and a full bike wash. Sure, all of that sounds great, but I had only come in for a simple rear derailleur cable replacement and possibly a rear tire change (new tire was provided)
The quote felt excessive and padded, like they were trying to take advantage of me. It gave me that sinking feeling—“Ah, they think I’m an easy target here.” I was honestly disappointed. So I declined the service on the spot and went to another local bike shop. There, I had the derailleur cable, brake cable, and even the tubeless rear tire replaced—all for just $80
Today might have been my last visit to the Closter Track Bike Shop.

Stopped by Trek Closter to see if they could do a full service on my Bulls hybrid Ebike within less then a week returned to find my Bike looking great. Took it to the road flat and gravel gears are smooth brakes are on point. I am happy with the work done everything was honestly explained and itemized and my bike was ready when promised, I had bought my bike elsewhere but in the future I'll buy my next bike here and continue getting this one serviced there as well.

Based on a phone call, I will not be returning. I asked if there was availability to break down a bike on a specific day. Instead of saying there’s no availability, the associate went on and on about how that’s a super unrealistic ask on such short notice. How you talk to people matters. A simple no would have sufficed.

The staff here do a great job at helping you figure out what bike fits your needs and skill level best. They also are interested in continuing to help you improve your biking experience once you buy the bike. They will help with accessory installation, which is very nice.

Came here for some help on a Trek Domane AL 4 that I felt was too small and they put the bike on a trainer to see my posture and noticed that I looked a bit scrunched on the bike. I was able to return the bike from its original store at another location and this location had my proper size in stock and they happily helped me out with the exchange process. Kevin and the rest of the staff here are phenomenal and very helpful and I now have my first road bike. Incredible customer service! Will definitely come back for any accessories or help I may need with the bike.
