When I can get through to them via phone they are very nice. When I go there in person they are very nice. (they get 2 stars for this)
It takes days to get someone on the phone. They seem to answer the phone when ever they are in the mood. (I dont call at lunch) Then when you finally get through, they tell you they are going to call you back about your missing package, they don't.
I had to go through the main 800 automated number to escalate this and create a ticket. Now I have to wait 3-4 days for this to move forward.
Other places/homes I have lived, I could always call the Post Office and get the Post Master General to address problems ASAP. At least they answered their phones.
I've only called and gone to this post office because of daily delivery or package issues. Its too bad because they all could be out of jobs if their jobs go private.

Second lost package in 2 weeks. Send or Recieve anything through a Professional Carrier. UPS, Fed X. Anyone EXCEPT USPS.

Send things you care about to an out of town address, do not mail your loved ones in this area anything you care about. The currier is entirely too lazy and not caring. The package will end up many addresses away and or damaged. Not just once in a while either, it's a regular thing. I just had another package crushed to fit my mailbox instead of getting out of the vehicle like somebody that cares. Although the package was marked first class and not to bend, lucky me now my child's already astoundingly high priced school photos are trashed.

The women at the Columbia Post Office are very helpful. Denise, and Jillian (my favorite postmaster) are always there to help in all your postal and shipping needs.Keep up the great work ladies.

I lived in Columbia my whole childhood into college and most times I never had a problem with any of the staff, they answered questions, alway had a smile and loved to chit-chat with me. There was one younger male staff member they hired on and things changed for a bit as he took over for the retiring postmaster, but that never stopped the ladies from being nice to me when he wasn't looking. Dont judge them too harshly, everyone has good and bad days. Some people have bad days their whole life. Just remember that they are human too. Give a little kindness no matter what and they will soften each time you see them. Positive conditioning.

Service was awesome! Everyone is so kind in that post office. Everyone was very understanding in my package being late. Very clean and efficient office.

Decatur street does not allow trucks over 04 ton why are there constantly tractor trailer is going through this town of Columbia New Jersey

Lazy drivers continuously pass over my driveway because they don't want to have to back out. Terrible customer service.
