Worthington is a tent camper's paradise with some sites right on the edge of the Delaware River. I discovered this beautiful park as a boy scout in the 1960s, enjoyed the section of the campground called "Hippie Hill" in the 1970s, and returned in the 1990s and 2000s with my children. I even got chased away from a dumpster by a bear there. Don't miss hiking to Sunfish Pond and the Smithfield Beach swimming area in adjacent Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area if you go

Excellent camping place on the banks of the Delaware River right here in New Jersey. Clean area, fire pit, picnic table. Not too far from I-80. Very convenient and strongly recommend for a nice getaway.

Terrible place. Went here with my wife and 3 month old baby. Tried to drive to Turtle Beach on Old Mine Rd and got two flat tires from all the potholes in the ground. At the very least put signs up warning drivers of all the potholes up ahead. We were stuck in the woods for 4 1/2 hrs with no help. Park rangers didnt bother to come out either and even saw a bear pass by us. Avoid this place

Beautiful beautiful park and campsite … my video captures how pretty the water and greenery is. it’s a hidden gem in the middle of Delaware water gap area.. absolutely stunning and the drive gets 10/10.. you have an area for kayaking and very very pet friendly.. they have bear signs everywhere and instructions on how to handle food etc .. saw that most campsites were occupied..

I love coming to this campground. I like the sites 35 and up. Showers and toilets are in good condition. They clean them every day at noon. We do rafting every time we go there and hiking too! Overall. I love it!

Such a beautiful and picturesque place. The Delaware river curves gently through the forest and mountains stand silently in the background. Great place for camping and picnic.

Great campground. Most sites are big and private (some are less private so pay attention to the map). There a beautiful views and several activities you can join (for a fee) like archery and kayaking.

It has a nice view of the river, mountains, and a calm lake tucked away from the NJ noise. You can do a short walk or camp out for the full day. Of course there are better hikes out there, but for the area, this is a 5 star.
